- I am looking back at a mad game, as Liverpool travel to Aston Villa and have to settle for a crazy 3-3 draw. I also talk about the major improvement in Cody Gakpo these last few weeks, and the conversation between him and Klopp that changed everything.

As life long Dortmund fan, I feel for you guys. Even though our last season with him was a lot worse than this one is for The Reds pointswise, it still broke me seeing the "Danke Klopp" signs. It truly is the end of an era. Although you mustn't forget, than no matter how shitty we'll feel when he leaves; We'll never walk alone. Big up The Reds

Hi Andy. Proposal to recalibrate the FYS to utilize the whole range more often. EG the Gakpo goal would be a 1 or 2 based off the fact that the game was meaningless, it was to go 2-0 up, it looked offside etc. Just an idea and that way we get to keep 8, 9, 10s for those special goals. Obviously not looking to undermine your grace in any way but just a suggestion.

i feel like gakpo did already break free from the shakles but at the end of last year. Back then i also felt exited to see him play and score. But this year that has indeed disapeared a bit. I'ts coing back tho and that makes me very happy! (Even tho i'm belgian)
Buzzing to see what happens next year with the squad/what slot does with players, no matter where we finish! Klopp’s given us the gift of integrating the likes of quansah, bradley, gakpo out wide etc, let’s be grateful for that alone

I really enjoyed the game, the whole squad looks fresh and ready to go on for next season. Of course there are scopes of improvement, but it's a lot better than last season.
Seriously sad for The Normal One's departure, quite curious(positively) for Arne Slot's style of play.

@@jaredblue8823 you might be a little further than me in the process...for me I'm at the "ex just picked up the last of her stuff" stage. The possibility of a dramatic rainy confession and a happy ending has faded. I'm realizing it's over while accepting it's part of this game and life in general. Not ready to get back in the game so I'm reserving my Slot excitement for pre-season. Not even sure how much transfer news I'll be keeping up with. Anyway...I genuinely hope this decision was the right one for Klopp.

This game was like our season summed up in 90 mimutes...look forward to last game at home.
Is Gakpo bulking up or is it me ?
The problem for our lot lately has been the (seeming) abandonment of 'defending from the front'. I just don't know why it's come about. It leaves our defence kind of exposed but, more specifically, leaves the opposition knowing exactly where our attackers are. It even affects our breaks, which have always been so effective because of the speed of them from deep.

I think with Gakpo is that we all hoped he would be Bobby's replacement and he's not. Bobby was an extrovert in personality and in how played. I always thought of Gakpo as a cool, laid back sort but it's nice to have seen him warm up a bit recently and I think that has had a positive impact on his play.
Darwin looks absolutely bereft at the moment.

Typically Kloppo to tell the public that they had a “talk” when in reality they sent Cody back to holland and had them replace him with a new , latest model one.
The Martinez goal was made so much better because the Polish commentators were hyping Martinez up and how you have to do something special to beat him, and as he says that he punches the ball in 🤣
We need to do better in defending
It's the midfield that needed to improve in my opinion. It reminded me of last season, we gave the ball away too many times in midfield and put the defence under pressure. It got worse when Endo went off too
Yes 100% arsenal has the Best defense in the league. Forgive me for this but our defense is as atrocious as it was when Klopp came in.

Loved seeing Quansah get a goal. Couldn’t help but think what if Gomez cross was going in and Gakpo poached it. Poor Joey never gonna see that first. I want to see Gakpo do well but he frustrates me several times a game. Just to slow making his mind up.on the ball. Looks like he over thinks… then it’s to late.
Ive thought that about Gakpo alright but not in the last few games, he looks unburdened! Also i did check to see was Gomez's shot going in, for that exact reason, and the keeper had tipped it, was going past the post
