  • I'm talking about Kloppo.
First I talk about how I broke down the day before the final game. I look back at the 2-0 victory, the speech and presentation, and I reflect on Klopp's legacy and the impact its had on my life.
This one is a bit more emotional than usual, I hope you dont mind that!
Thank you Jurgen, and thank you to every one of you who helped make this channel such a joy this season!
Let me know your favourite Klopp moment in the comments, or not, y'know... we're all going through something here haha

There are several fan channels (of any club) that cover the emotional part of being a fan. But, there is something about this channel that captures the magic of loving a club - our club - and the game itself. Great going, Andy.

Aged 63, the night we won the Prem, went into town with my son and celebrated the people on the steps of the bombed out church. A feeling I never thought I’d see again, having been spoilt in my youth. Moreover my two sons and my daughter got to see the culmination of Jurgens renaissance and the sheer joy of winning the league. Tvm Andy.

I think the below quote is probably my favorite moment from the man himself:
"I told the boys before it was impossible, but because it’s you boys, we have a chance. It's 10 past 10, the children are probably in bed. These boys are fucking unbelievable. I seen James Milner crying on the pitch afterwards. Fine me if you want."
Amazing content as always Andy. You've summed it up perfectly on what it means to be a Liverpool supporter under Klopp. I'm really glad I found this channel.
Also, do you mind sharing the music that was running on top of the clip of Klopp celebrating with the boys after the champions league win?

For me, I had 4 year old twin boys boys when he arrived, I now have 13 year old teenagers who are die hard reds, who's earliest footballing memories will maybe be celebrating winning the Champions League with their Dad while on holiday in Spain (not in Madrid sadly!), or maybe just the hours we spent watching Liverpool games, getting to stay up after bedtime to see the end of what turned out to be another classic match, priceless, so thank you Jurgen!
What is clear is that Klopp gave us more than trophies in nine years, it baffles rival fans, but it's true, and that is the thing we are all most thankful for!
Great video Andy, your content step up this year has been great, looking forward to it now under Slot!

Favourite Klopp moment was when he told the fans who left early in the first game, "I felt very lonely in this moment", something about that told me he was going to be great at Liverpool. He wanted everyone rowing in the same direction, fom each player, to each staff member to even the most critical fan.
What is it about football that can release these extreme emotions in us like nothing else in life? The passion, the sadness.
I hope we can keep some of Klopps positivity in all of us as we move away from this period, there will be tough times ahead, but if we can stick together and continue to row in the same direction we will go places

The way Big Virg tucked his head into that hug got me too!! I did not have him losing it on my bingo card.
It was Kelly Cates’ saying “you made the people happy,” at the end of that lovely long interview that got me. Surprisingly I’m feeling much more upbeat than expected - maybe a little bit of denial, but more likely that joyous speech of his, he was never gonna let us be unhappy. Which just makes me emotional again. What a guy.

I was talking to my children (who have only ever known the Klopp era because of their ages) and listing our favourite "Liverpool Moments". Virtually none of them were actual trophy lifts (admittedly some of these moments meant trophy lifts were possible).
    My personal highlights included:
    "Corner Taken Quickly"
    Allison's header vs West Brom
Singing "I'm So Glad..." at the FA Cup Semi-final against City (for the whole match and half time in the concourse)
Watford at home when "Allez, Allez, Allez" was new and singing that for the whole 90 minutes in the Kop
    Number 6 in Madrid
Dortmund at home in the Europa League
    Origi vs Pickford's short arms
Danke Jurgen, you've given me and my kids some of the greatest football memories we could ever have wished for. Sure, more trophies would have been lovely but it was a hell of a ride nonetheless and I will be forever grateful.

From “fucking yes” to laughing at ridiculous things happening on the pitch, it’s what we’re all thinking. You’re representing the average fan, especially us Irish ones who don’t get to go Anfield very often. Add in the humour and, as Jurgen would say, “BOOM”. Well done, Andy. How many managers get such an overwhelmingly emotional send off? The vast majority get sacked and leave quietly to avoid reporters. There’s only one manager in world football who leaves after fist bumping a stadium full of fans who stay behind for hours to give a send off for the ages. 🥰🥳🤩

My dad’s hero was Shankly - never thought I’d see him with the same amount of love for another manager but that’s Klopp for you. Thankfully he got to see Jurgen bring the champions league & premier league titles back where they belong before he died last year. I never thought a manager leaving would hit me the same way Kenny stepping down in ‘91 (showing my age there!) did but I was genuinely dreading yesterday. Pep’s leaving interview made me tear up - as did seeing Trent & Virgil so emotional. Then to cap it all we saw Ulla in the crowd in tears when Anfield belted out Jurgen’s song & Kenny & marina clapping & singing along. City can buy all the titles they want, they’ll still never get what it means to be part of LFC.

Hi Andy. I really love your channel. It was a hell of a day on Sunday.
For me, I knew it would be a tough day when I saw the crowd outside when the buses arrived. I was like, wow! Somehow I’m not surprised because Reds are amazing creating moments around Anfield but that was spectacular. Klopp’s speech had me. I was hanging on his every word. I’m so glad you highlighted the part where he got the Arne Slot chant going. I hope that’s the first thing Slot hears when he walks on the pitch. Also, the thing that has been playing in my head over and over is the part where he says “and I believe in you”. He just has a way of delivering certain phrases that either make you want to run through a wall or sit with your head in your hands. I can’t explain it. Maybe Trent said it best when he said Klopp is “a strange blend of intimidating and very welcoming”?
Anyway, I appreciate you and it’s been enjoyable seeing the moments that you highlight on your videos every week.
Lastly, I hate to say it but I don’t like the new kit. I feel the same as you do. I also don’t Ike the shorts at all. Just my opinion but I like the away and third more. I’ve liked all of Nike’s home kits until now.

You're spot on with the succession of managers from Shankly etc the only exception was Hodgson. I was so deflated with that appointment and knew he wasn't the right man for the job and so it proved to be. Going to give Arne Slot my full support and never shall I purchase a NOW TV monthly subscription package again.

Not one to leave a comment usually but wanted to thank you for all these videos. It is so relatable to my own experience of watching the team play while having a young family. Following you this year has raised this season on my FYS by +1. Thank you for that and I look forward to the next.

My god, im just watching soccer saturday talking about Jurgens first match and their analysis... and i must say its what someone has said... i would go back and relive it all, with the heartbreake of losing out 2 times by 1 point, but the highs, the highs is what lives on, 9 of the best years of my life personally, having this liverpool team mixed in and adding those crazy celebration moments, i love it all, so many great goals and each one has a memory as you said where i was and how my life was changing, i have honestly never been more invested in a manger and group of players, i hope the next step is great, but this klopp era was pure magic.

and i suprisingly held it all together pretty good, but maybe because i was with my girls didnt want them to see my crying, but trent and that interview did it for me, i was just in the bedroom by myslef and just couldnt keep it together anymore...

and its like you said each moment has a memory.....Ali header im in the car watching on my phone fist pumping away like crazy cause my girls are sleeping knowing i cant scream.... barcelona jumping around my apartment after i couldnt watch the first leg because of a wedding, Origi goal vs everton with my brother in law driving to work.... each memory has a place and its all cause of Klopp

There are two particular memories that I have for the Boss. 1) was the interview after trashing Clitty 3-0 when he said Booom!! and the other was when he refused to talk to the Sun reporter after a match. Showed his class on both occasions and showed his humanity too! Great Man, Great Legacy and left us with a great future!

Had tears in my eyes watching this didn’t think that would happen i held up strong yesterday until his speech felt like a little kid watching this man who’s larger than life idk it hit man
The kit looks way better on field and that’s the place it needs to look best imo
Harvey looked sick w collar up
DANKE Klopp, him starting an Arne Slot chant might be a bigger moment than we realize rn we’ll see that stamp of approval will hold weight with fans surely
Thank you Mr. Cantwell for all of these vids this season hope you will do something for Euros but if not enjoy your break till next season!

the whole 9years was just awesome, memories and emotions, I think Covid made it so much more emotional as the lads and Jurgen brought us through that time , and exactly man. I was in the KOP sunday, in the build up I cried a lot. I expected me to break down during the match but nothing. And as you say,, after 20min I was like ,, wait who is playing ? ...what a red card ? the mosaic in front of our faces during YNWA, so I was down to , the last fist bumbs must be it then but they managed to make it sooo long, farewell 6 staff, Jurgen did not cry a single tear, thanks for that... VVD forehead got me , you cld see he is burrying his face until it was safe to look up again. Depressed realising its just a game and for the first time it wasnt relevant, mowning the lawn was more important than that game, I want it back , bring it back Arne
