Avatar does contain what loosely can be termed 'pagan' elements and as person of panentheistic - animist belief, I say thank goodness for that! It is regrettable that some people can be so consumed by their dogma, so fearful of the world and their own thoughts, that it causes them such distress to watch a fantasy film which has a different world view than they do. Blessedly for such people as Pastor Mark Driscoll they have the freedom to choose not to watch. For the rest of us we can be thankful that we can enjoy, be inspired and learn from films as diverse as Jesus of Nazareth, Avatar and Creation (which is about Darwin) for example, and have our lives and souls enriched by the experience.
It shows paganism because it's an exact copy of "Dances with Wolves", a movie set in the 1800's between Americans and Natives. The pagan culture is just a copy of Native American religion.

Fellow believer here! When you watch the story of Moses it portrays real magic and real false god worship…yet it has zero impact on you to now go try to repeat those same acts. Avatar is a blue fictional character😂 no one is telling you to go be one with a tree and denounce your faith!🙄Stop it!

Satan does not expose himself as you think, the bible says he is a raging lion. And as you may know lions hunt their prey by hiding in the grass, where the animals eat(What animals like to eat), then when the animals(humans) are distracted we get attacked and sometimes dont notice it and suffer the consequences of being mentally confused on what to believe or ect... And for more info, satan gives people ideas that look harmless but are full of deceiving words and images. Good examples of these so called things would be most music artist out there, look very well at the word and try and make out what it can say about you.

Obviously he hasn't hidden very well on this occasion as a christian hack gave a sermon revealing satans dirty work on Avatar and the video is on youtube. I never ceased to be amazed at how christians never get tired of harping on about how powerufl god is and yet apparently he can do jackshit about the devils little tricks.

But however a fact is a fact, and god will allow Christians to be tempted in all sorts of ways, of course when I saw the movie, I thought it was harmless, however when you begin to see how the movie disfigures human moralsyou can understand what it means, It does not take a Christian to understand that killing, stealing, lying ect... is wrong. So tell me this, why do many movies/books always go against our morals and make it seem ok? And Satans tricks you say are not spotted by people who live in darkness that easily(even if they did, they would not care) Only someone who lives in the light(not specifically saying me, but hopefully me) will understand the evil coming from darkness and try to warn others from it
I didn't catch on to the subliminal messages at first to be honest. But the more I looked into occult practices and beliefs i began to see how badly its integrated into what we watch, its dumbing down our senses to evil. Its all over, not just avatar. I'm glad you have a discerning of this stuff. That's either 1,257 occultist people who disliked this, or 1,257 misled people. Lol

Actually this is the very reason why you should go to church friend so you will learn to see these things through the discerning of the Holy Spirit of God that will come to Dwell in you when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior by faith
I’m a Christian and I’m here to tell you that in the body of Christ you will have some of us believers who are extremists and call any and everything “demonic” 🙄I am not naive to the spiritual realm and dark forces, but some things aren’t what Christian’s say, some of them are operating from their own personal convictions then imposing themselves onto everyone else and then calling it “spiritual decernment” when it’s them being over pious and emotional!
This is why you have to know Christ for yourself, don’t worry about other believers, because they aren’t always right, seek Christ for yourself and his word and allow him to guide you. I’ve had Christians call things worldly, or demonic that I later found out is not by the Holy Spirit himself!!! It’s really annoying, because they project themselves onto others and sometimes are WRONG! Loud and WRONG! There are a lot of shows out there that yes you can call demonic. Avatar is not one of them. No one in the film is teaching you to go be one with a tree!🙄😂😂😂😂be for real.😂.
The story of Moses has a slew of Egyptian themes where the people of Egypt practiced witchcraft and worship idols and false gods, when we watch a portrayal of NON FICTIONAL themes such as these is it influencing you to now commit those same acts???🙄 But some how a little blue fictional alien that communicated with a tree will somehow have an impact with your walk with Christ??😂😂😂 PLEASE don’t let my over the top brothers and sisters in Christ deter you from getting to know your creator!
