I don't get casual dating. I've always been a big believer in dating to marry. Girls i've been with before were the type to casually date, and it just isn't what i'm looking for. I'm hoping to be married one day when it's God's timing.
Serving together and/or working together on projects really gives you the opportunity to see whether someone has the emotional maturity to communicate and work through issues and their problem-solving skills, along with their weaknesses and strengths. This type of emotional maturity to communicate and work through issues is essential to marriage. You will find out a lot about the other person by serving and working together on a project.
There’s nothing wrong with getting together and doing something fun with a like-minded individual of the opposite sex, unless you or they are married to someone else. It doesn’t mean you’re dating the person.
The only reason to date is to find your marriage partner. I am using my late husband's image, but I am a woman and have been widowed for almost 15 months. I only date to get married. SO MANY men want to try before they buy, but I have too much love and respect for God, and myself, to allow any man other than my husband to have access to my body and to share intimacy with me. One day, God will send my future husband into my life, but I will remain chaste until then/

LOL...nobody wants to get married these days and if they do it is a VERY LOW percentage . Yes, that goes for "Christians" as well. I can tell you from first hand knowledge. It is what it is, hate that phrase...sorry not sorry. Im a realist, don't know what to tell ya. AND...even those who are married or in a serious relationship are still out there flirting and looking for the next better thing... you are welcome.

Not true. I want to get married. I love God and what He blesses us with, in the blessed bonds of marriage.
Time is too precious to play the field and/or "recreational" date. It's just not God's design.
