Imagine some Aussie kid in 96 just got this wicked new zombie game called Resident Evil, and when he booted it up he saw this cheesy FMV of all of the cast, and one of them, is his principal

In Resident Evil Revelations 2, Barry references Jill in a lumber yard, by having a machine swing a giant bunch tree logs to smash open a fence door and says, "Ha who's the master of unlocking now" 🔓
That line made me laugh harder than when Claire made the Jill sandwich joke.

His goofiness in RE1 and manliness in RER2 (together with the shift) easily win my heart. Best RE character ever!
I didn't know that Barry adopted Natalia. Aww. ❤ He isn't gonna be back in any more Resident Evil games. He is a cool character. Least he wasn't killed off. He gets to spend the rest of his days with his family. Also, it's good that Polly didn't get killed and Moira likes Barry, again. Such a happy ending for the Burton family.

I played Revelations so many times never knew there were multiple endings
The different endings happen upon the choice that u make for killing Neil, if u kill Neil by Moira then u'll get the good ending but if u kill Neil by Claire then the bad ending happens, I guess Moira killing Neil makes her brave enough to use weapons and survive during those 6 months of isolation in the island and if Claire kills Neil then Moira won't have the courage to use a gun for her survival and sadly she'll get killed😅
@@exmatilda3095 Moira killing Neil signified that she overcame her fear (of firearms) and thus the T-phobos virus didn't affect her and killed her outright when the tower came down on her.

Am I the only one who took well over 10 years to notice that Barry is about to cry in Jill's ending in the original game's ending where Barry says "Sorry". Unlike many people, I don't have a problem with the acting but I always thought that Barry apologized for something else.

Lol I did hear that the devs of Remake say that the Barry ending was not the canonical ending but I didn't catch that RE 5 noted that Barry did indeed help Jill escape the city! That had me laughing so hard! Great work as always! 👍

I'd love to see Barry back in a new canonical game teaming up with Jill valentine! Let's hope we get something like that in the near future. It's a shame he was absent from the remake. But hopefully capcom will make up for it.

Adding on to Barry's magnum and the standard magnum. If you examine it in remake its graved on the barrel *silver serpent* witch is a nod to Colts snake series of revolvers. The Python, The Anaconda and The Cobra.
Number 2 is propably one of my new favorite facts about the franchise.

I remember back in the day, so many people would fancast Bruce Willis for Barry. While not a bad choice, I personally always envisioned John Goodman in the role, playing Barry the exact same way he did Walter Sobchak in The Big Lebowski.

I recall in the RE2 cover issue of Game informer, there was a small section addressing the absence of Berry and how much people want him back, Its been ages since I read that issue so im unsure what GI said since I doubt they could speak on Capcom's behalf on that.

When capcom claimed it wasn't the canon ending they meant that Remake 3s ending isn't canon...
