I think my cousin fucked that car. True story.
They look good but no UK delivery. Have a word mate.
If Vessi are willing to send me a pair shoes, I'll test the 'no sweaty feet claim in the tropics.
TELL VESSI TO MAKE HALF SIZES! Anyway, in other news I'm not salty I don't fit in Vessi lol
I always enjoy your videos and sponsors you guys should make one about the Sankebetsu Brown Bear Incident on The Casual Criminalist.
"Stop giving emotions to inanimate objects" he says, as if he hasn't been doing exactly that to chatGPT 😂
To say nothing about ETA or Peter the plant. #OGBB
That's different. He freely admits he's nice to ChatGPT because he hopes it will have his back when the machines take over.
@@pixiesouter9461 but ETA actually affects the world positively
I love the way he talks to ChatGPT too. Like “yo yo yo what’s up my brothah?” Do we think Simon talks to his friends like that?
That is a very stupid argument, but ohwell dumb peopleare dumb
"inanimate objects don't have emotions" someone who's never worked with an office printer 😂
I have an espresso machine that you need to say please or it won't work properly. I wish I was kidding
Office printers are definitely animate and they've got problems 😂😊
Office printers don't have "Emotions". They have only one, Hate. An intense and burning hatred that can never be quelled.
I quelled one by saying “I know where the screwdrivers are.”
@@sophierobinson2738 I repair large format printers. I know of many MANY ways to threaten disassembly :p
"If Simon ever gets there after all this rambling" cuts to vessi ad.... 😂
and then that was followed by a CZcams ad...
Coffee = spit
Sides = split
Pants = shid
Seemed like a fun joke from one of the editors
Let's be honest, we come for the rambles
Ikr? lol.
"inanimate objects don't have emotions" says the guy who has an on again off again bromance with Chat GT
on again off again bromance 🤣
Am I right Peter?!?
Oh it's firmly on on Simons side, but chat GPT seems to be giving him the cold shoulder recently. Lovers tiff?
@@ThatElfTorunn Chat GT caught him with that cheap tart Siri
@@djtigerstripes oh god what’s it going to do when it finds out he has a whole family on the side

Bedtime Stories is a good channel. They tell it more in an entertainment way, kinda like telling ghost stories around a campfire. There's also Wartime Stories which is the same but military stories.
But back in the 90's, my dad was an EMT. This was when airbags were still fairly new. Someone glued those little plastic gems all over their steering wheel. You can imagine the results after they crashed.
Both are great channels
I'm trying to imagine the results 🤷🏻♀️
Were airbags different back then? The panel opens and the airbag comes out. The panel doesn't make contact with anyone. At least as an ER nurse, I've never heard of that
eh, I actually stopped watching -BTS- Bedtime Stories ‘cuz I noticed they’d been slowly dipping into the wild conspiracy stuff. DtU has covered some of the same stories and found the same information but often finds them to be absolute bogus.
Yeap, freaking fantastic channels as well. The "what happened in the steel mill?" really got to my nerves, although I don't believe anything.
@oscaranderson5719 but they're only storytellers. If you want debunking it's not the right place. Here would be the right place.
When Simon started talking about University of Maine my brain went "Uh oh" since I'm currently there for school. Now, after googling UMaine murders, I've stumbled down a hole of murders connected to UMaine and my mind is not sure what to do with this new found information. 😅
Honestly the rambling makes it way funnier and suggests that there will be more funny ramblings later to keep watching for
i'm here for the rambling.
Simon, we love your bloody rambling. Don't ever stop!
Simon needs another channel dedicated to the rant, tangent and ramble style we all love facts boi for.

That's why he's the boii of factening
I remember watching Christine when I was little. My dad allowed me to watch it even though i was around 6 at the time simply because I love cars.
Needless to say, it scared the crap out of me when I was young.
"Cars can't be evil!" *Dennis Hopper, Steven Speilberg, and the victims of The Car have left the chat*
Yeah but this car piloted by Dennis Weaver outdid the evil truck in Duel.
Lest we forget, "Christine."

Clearly they never met a Decepticon
@@Brainspoil Decepticons don't often (if every) take the shapes of cars. Autobots do, hence the name. Hell, Megatron used to turn into a gun. Just a gun. No way to move or anything.

1) It's called anthropomorphism.
2) The Pinto was a Ford, not a FIAT. And the car at 17.09 is not a Pinto.
3) Bedtime Stories is a really good channel about paranormal activity, cryptids, unexplainable phenomena.
Italian here: and the Fiat Punto is from the 90’s
@@AlexTheStampede Ah did not know that. Thanks.
“Stop giving emotions to inanimate objects.”
Simon, are you and ChatGPT having a falling out?
I love when Vessi sponsors Simon; you can totally see the little boy in him get so excited EVERY SINGLE TIME and I look forward to each!
As soon as "scary story" takes place in New England (e.g. Maine), I also immediately think "Stephen King". 😂
It is his main source of inspiration… I'll see myself out.
Mr Ballen and his bedtime stories! Never fact checked just stories told in an intriguing way. I appreciate the fact that your channels are full of facts!
Now you're making me want Mr. Ballen to collaborate with Fact Boy. If this occurs I will fangirl...I am easily excited if others do such.
Thanks for taking one for the team, it's a site the rest of us will never have to read now!
"This is a pointless aside." Well, at least we know it's the real Simon!
Bedtime Stories is a great channel. Yes it's just stories for the most part but the presentation and artwork is fantastic. Well worth a watch.
If you don't pay your exorcist, you get repossessed

Oh that is gold!! Going to pilfer it.
Starring Leslie Nielson and Linda Blair.
On the gold color, 1964 was the 50th anniversary of Dodge and so a lot of the mid and full sized cars got 'anniversary gold' paint. Including my old '64 330 that finally went to the scrap heap with over half a million miles on it.
One year over the Xmas summer holidays my best friend and I were introduced to the movie. I think we watched it until the tape died, it wasn't scary, but we got addicted to the music from that movie - much to our parents initial befuddlement, understanding and finally amusement.
My father owned a 1967 Ford mustang and after his death. The car started doing strange things. Every Time someone would drive it the car would speed up real fast on its own and do a wheelie even when the person was holding down the brake. The car had been sold 3 times to different owners within a year. They would swear it was possessed and the car shouldn't even be able to do a wheelie. My dad loved that car and worked on it almost every weekend, it was his pride and joy. I personally know the first owner after my father and he told me the car would even start up on its own, it creeped him out. That's why he sold it to begin with and when he sold it that owner brought it back to him saying the car had a mind of it's own. My father would take the car to the local racetrack in Tampa and I would watch him race it down the strip. He won most of his races including a nice big trophy 🏆 to boot.
I know Simon doesn't read the comments,he has stated this several times, but bro maybe you should. You would then realise that we come for the stories but we stay for the tangents and rants Factboi 😄💜🇦🇺💜
He knows. He gets told in Discord constantly. 🤣
Ex-military weapons, and weapons systems expert here. If you bedazzle an airbag, congrats you just made a sparkly bargain store claymore... 👍
I looked up the Dodge 330, why didn't the editor put a picture of one up? It seems like an odd thing to leave out as it helps sell the mental images of this rambling BS (talking about Wendy's stuff, of course). She's nuckin' futs! But in a tragic way, not a way that is so absolutely cooked that its hilarious.
I've also seen pictures of those bedazzled steering wheels that Simon mentions. Making a home made claymore? This will certainly end up on a Brain Blaze Darwin Awards episode. 🤣🤣
Absolutely loved that Bedtime Stories drop and tangent.
I live in Maine.
I've been to OOB all sorts of times.
I've yet to see this car or meet this woman. I've heard this story but there's no local news about her or the story. This makes me think this is something largely limited to the internet.
Then again, I kind of ignore the news unless prompted by something external (usually someone telling me about the news).
Edit: I should mention that Blow Brothers exists, as far as I know. I believe they do indeed pump sewage from septic tanks.
Simon's ramblings is why I watch 😂
honestly the only reason I finished this one.
How can she be driving any cars if she claims to be legally blind. That would explain multiple deaths blamed on this vehicle.
Non-verbal autism. Legally blind. Drives...
Pretty sure legally blind doesn't mean completely unable to see. Your vision could be so bad you're blind without corrective lenses.
My BIL is a legally blind sports reporter driving ~30k miles a year and with well over a million miles under his belt has only been in two accidents. One where the other driver ran a red light and the other when a deer hit the side of his car. He has glasses made with special lenses to avoid looking like coke bottles.

Definitely wasn’t a 1978 “Fiat” Pinto… it’s a Ford Pinto
Loving the Bedtime Stories mention! Been following them for a while!
Well, that was entertaining. Christine the movie was supposedly filmed in the town I was in during high school, but in watching it later, I could not recognize any of the outdoor locations. Oh well.
It's always really hard to tell
Could be odd camera angle(s) or smth. I remember news report about car crash or smth in my place , and camera was set at a such odd angle that we at home had hard time identifying where it was. Had to pause TV to find out , and since it is small place , and we know each other and every inch of it , we discovered it. Later that day , we heard from other people it was there where we thought it was.
Fiat Pinto What the hell is that ?😳 Ford Pinto is a vehicle from the 70's!
😂😂
The Ford Pinto was also known to explode if someone rear-ended it. My older sister had one, and I was worried about her. But don't tell her, shhh.
Oh that's so true about the rear end 🔥 bomb !!!
There's a Fiat Punto, which is what the picture shows.... But how someone looked at that a car and didn't think it looked a strange given it was supposed to be a car from the 70s is baffling.
Fix. It. Again… hmmm.
I've been a subscriber of bedtime stories for a very long time. Good bunch of guys over there
Shoutout to the editor for the disappearing Simon.
❤😅
There was a movie called The Car that was about a killer car. This movie predates Christine.
Sounds like the Golden Eagle is taking over Wendy's mind and soul... leaving her with lost memories and a distaste for Stephen King. Is it because he knows how to break the curse of killer cars??
I doubt it. If you've haven't read 'Christine', then spoiler alert: it's strongly implied at the end that the titular car has regenerated completely from the efforts to destroy it in the climax and is now tracking the ones responsible across the US to exact it's revenge.
We need an entire Decoding the Unknown about Wendy Allen!
I was hoping I'd see this comment 👌 was going to suggest the same 😂
@@tawnie8550why because mental illness is such a joke?
@@thatjewishbitche9719are you related to her?
If it was April 1st, I would have told you about how this car killed me and then brought me back to life. Jesus, that was a rough three days...
Christine is ripe for a remake with a self driving EV that becomes sentient. In the end, as the car is being destroyed, the internal screen flashes "upload complete", and everyone's smart phones begin laughing maniacally in unison.
CREEPY, weird, true crime... Bedtime Stories! I LOVE them. Bedtime Stories for adults!
There is also Mr. Ballin. Good story teller.
In my country, there was a brand and model of truck everybody called "road to heaven" as the vehicle was so heavy it went straight to heaven if you turn ina curve at certain speed, and everyone died because of it
Oh my gosh!!! That's terrifying 😮
I found the models: Chevrolet Chevy 500 and Volkswagen Saveiro (at least those are the names in this country)

I thought Simon said put together a CD 😂😂 that was something of our era as the mixtape was to the prior generation
Do the New Jersey Devil!! There is a damn hockey named after it and it was also an X-Files episode!! I have been asking for like 3 yrs now lol
There's literally nothing to that story lol Maybe that's why he hasn't done it...
@@jeffdroog there was nothing to this one either. Not a valid argument.
As a near lifelong Jersey girl I agree.
@@jeffdroogthere's more to the story than a few of the videos and the best part is that aside from some of the people in the boonies, no one in NJ actually believes in our local cryptid but we take precautions to not anger him by giving him a hockey team
Patience is a virtue!
Also she says she’s been legally blind since birth but owns and drives a bunch of cars??? Good lord. I hope Wendy gets the help she needs
On her CZcams channel she clearly reads things on her computer screen. And she talks more than I expected from someone who calls themselves nonverbal.
She really needs help.
@@sundaywasabi it's all an act/bullshit, she will say whatever pops into her micro brain at the time and believe it. Shocker right, that she's "self diagnosed" autistic? Apparently a growing number of people seem to think lying your ass off and being a piece of shit is all okay if you just lean on the autism crutch.
I mean...I'm legally blind without my glasses. It's not impossible. "Legally blind" just means everything is blurry as hell. Being actually blind means you see nothing.
Yeah it's one of those things with dumb and confusing terminology. Blind means you can't see. Legally blind usually just means you can't see without help.
I've seen a one up to the marble claymore mine steering wheel. Someone set up a tiny cactus garden in the space above the passenger airbag.
I prefer not being sold a story, but getting the facts, as well as critical commentary, as I'm shitting on it as well, and of course those tasty tangents ♥️
THANK YOU FOR GETTING RID OF THE LOUD MUSIC BOX MUSIC!!!! ❤❤❤
Bedtime Stories is my favorite channel to fall asleep to. The sister channel Wartime Stories is also great.
I love this channel, my favourite by far!
Hell yeah, I've been so wanting you to cover this one
Commenting mostly on your intro. I think if anyone sticks around any of your channels for more than a few videos they're not just here for the ending being spoiled or what have you. We're largely here for the ride from start to see how it gets there. I discovered your content somewhere near a year or two ago with Casual Criminalist and have since found the others and its that general consistent behavior and attitude that has entertained for a long time.
Blueberries, lobster, and crazy women are the prime trade items produced in Maine.
29:57 "Cars can't be possessed or haunted". I'm gonna stop you right there....when I was in college I had a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix that I'm pretty sure was trying to kill me. I know GM's quality control was complete shit in the 1990's, but this particular car acted like it was the beneficiary of my Life Insurance Policy.
Somewhere I encountered the story that Christine was based on "Little Bastard". James Dean's Porsche 550 Spyder. An episode on that car would be interesting.
Yesssss James Dean’s car has lots of crazy coincidences around it!
We’ve done that one! It’s on here somewhere
"That whatever it's called, that's my favourite book" 😂
I always enjoy your videos you guys should make one about the Sankebetsu Brown Bear Incident on The Casual Criminalist.
A vehicle _can_ be used as a murder weapon, but so can a bowling trophy. .. _Allegedly._
I love your rambling Simon its very entertaining keep it going.
Wow, on her website she claims that her family were brought to America in the 1530s, and that a piece of property in Maine has been in her family since 1533.
Maine's first European settlement was in 1607 (and it didn't last long)...
Okay so, you note at 33 mins the station as KXAN, I think. That station is in Austin, TX and would not be in Maine regardless, it would start with a W. "All broadcast call signs in the United States begin with either "K" or "W", with "K" usually west of the Mississippi River and "W" usually east of it. Initial letters "AA" through "AL", as well as "N", are internationally allocated to the United States but are not used for broadcast stations."
The screen grab used on the feed for the video still is of the car from Duel. Ironically, being hunted by what seems to be a murderous truck.
The tangents. I keep coming back for the tangents.
I got a Honda ad on the video about a murdery car, hah.
Honda drivers are quite mad in my experience, that adds up
@@KamielDV2 Oh no! I just remembered *I* drive a Honda! 😯

It’s most likely rusted into the ground like every other 64 Dodge in New England
I just started watching bedtime stories last week.
That rock animation that was used by the editor, is it from the recent SciShow April Fools video? Good choice if so.
Wasn't expecting Simon to mention Bedtime Stories. I quite enjoy that CZcams channel, pretty great for a scary story fix. I'll be looking forward to future mentions as a fan of both Simon and Bedtime Stories.
The Blow Brothers is a real company in Maine. Even at 43 I still chuckle at that name.
17:11 A FIAT Pinto. This is the scariest part on the script. I don't know if the fact that it'd be broken all the time could counterbalance the flammable tendencies.
Best add placement ever 😂
Thanks for sharing.
Naw! It's the raw, off the cuff riffing is the best! Keep banging Simon.😊
Simon, we love your rambling asides!
Oh shit Simon referenced Bedtime Stories. Love that channel.
Nah that's straight ripped from "Christine" by Stephen King with bits of "Project Satan" from Futurama 😐

"Inanimate objects don't have emotions."
Conveniently, they also lack a conscience, so they don't care if you need them for a specific task.
As a suggestion, you should do the Taranian Empire. One of my friends is now obsessed with it. It’s a supposed advanced Asian civilization that was wiped from history.
Really enjoyed the slow build to Katy having to stop herself from driving to Maine to slap a total stranger. You can hear her getting more and more frustrated until I was picturing her gnawing on her tablet in rage.
I've lived in Maine all my life, and I've never heard about this. I do drive past Stephen King's house fairly regularly.
Simon, if you liked 11/22/63, you should know that they made a short series of it. There are like 10 episodes, and it is basically like a long-form movie. It stayed true to the story and was very well done.
What I'm getting from this video that doesn't make my head hurt is that I need Vessi shoes and gloves. 😂
I love Bedtime Stories and Wartime Stories. But Bedtime Stories travels the more mysterious and sensationalist version of events, to give us something good to think about as we drift to sleep.
Cars for sure have feelings, I bought a nice daily driver from a dealership and it ran beautifully for a year, then I bought a project car that I was probably never going to drive for years but my other car got jealous and snapped a timing belt the same day I bought the project car.
I've read a lot of Stephen King and while I also wouldn't call it sex infested there are times I think King talks about a character crotch at a weird time and how the (pre?) teen kids save themselves from Pennywise the Clown in the books is messed up. So I can see how if that's the first story of his you read you might get that that impression.
I've touched this car, and it's next to train tracks in the Biddeford Maine. So far, I have not died a miserable death.
Another one I wanted to see you do. You and Roanoke Tales who loves cars. I enjoy ghost stories and I also enjoy you taking a giant shit on them.
"Stop giving emotions to inanimate objects" trying to fight a long history there. The Japanese had a type of mythical creature called a Tsukumogami. A Tsukumogami was created when an object that had no plastic and no electricity (these two restrictions were added in the modern day by Japanese priests) survived for 100 years. It then was believed to gain a soul, and needed a special ceremony when you got rid of it to help the soul of that object let go peacefully.
Edit: Simon I love bedtime stories. Their illustrations are fantastic! They aren't coming at it from a skeptic bent or a conspiracy theory bent, more like a folklore bent.
Also the raspberry car thing, it raises awareness the way the ice bucket challenge raises awareness. >.<
Edit Edit: OH NO NO NO NO you are NOT blaming this insanity on autism. I'm on the high functioning end of the spectrum myself and I've come up with plenty of weird stories over my lifetime. But not once since I started at twelve (I'm 38) did I confuse fiction and reality.
It doesn't sound like he's blaming it on autism, and I highly doubt she's autistic at all. Claims to be non-verbal and legally blind, yet drives a bedazzled car? She also claims 74 people killed 10 of her 12 foster children.. because, as we all know, non-verbal autistic blind people are absolutely allowed to foster a dozen kids...
"I was working on Project Satan, a savage, intelligent military vehicle built from the most evil parts of the most evil cars in all the world. The steering wheel from Hitler's staff car. The left turn signal from Charles Manson's VW. The windshield wipers from that car that played Knightrider".
"Knightrider wasn't evil!"
"His windshield wipers were. It didn't come up much in the show, though."
