- I want to show you every single connection that you're going to need in your outdoor DIY project.
First, for perforated pipe, always use an internal coupler. The way we use perforated pipe we always use a drainage fabric so we're never moving debris through our perforated pipe. Now for solid pipe for a roof runoff system you will want to use an external coupler. Otherwise the leaves and debris will get hung up on the internal fitting. This is really important. I cannot emphasize this enough.

These videos are so good. As a Michigan native now living in Boston, I WISH a company of your quality existed in Boston to do a tough french drain project for me. Thanks for all the incredible knowledge and content!
Great resource I have used over the years. Thank you.
Looks well made. Cant wait to try all of it out
I spec the royal blue high octane around the perimeter of building foundations, and use the corrugated to pvc couplers at the corners where I use pvc fittings and cleanouts.
Great video! I’ve wondered about some of these connections. Thanks!!

Thank you so much for this informative video. I do have question, does 4 inch corrugated pipe connects with NDS 5" channel drain outlet too? Please advise. Thank you!
Yes
Hello Robert. Can a french drain be combined with a leach field. For example you usually do a 14 by 14 inch trench. I'm thinking if I would go say 24 inch deep, install Geotech fabric, pour 10 inches of gravel then high octane pipe covered with gravel and burrito wrapped. My idea is any water below high octane pipe would leach back into ground and if water level comes up to or above pipe level then it would drain out to storm drain. Please advise
A French drain is a leach field. The way we build it with stone, it's a horizontal leach field. The short answer is yes, you can.

What type of connection is used to connect the corrugated pipe to dump it into a galvinized culvert type pipe?
