There is a need for expert independent specialty retailers. Music shops, jewelers, gunsmiths, boat builders, watchmakers, luthiers. None of these businesses come out quite right when exposed to ‘LEAN’ philosophy. This guy Stan knows that the selection he’s providing in quality will set him apart.

Hey JP. I recently bought a Yamaha FG9M that I ordered from Ernie King Music in Goderich ON. I love the guitar, I also play a Boucher SG 42VI. These guitars are my Daily Drivers. I rarely play My Martin D28 anymore. I watch your channels regularly and very much enjoy the content. Thank you.

I was there the day before your clinic, specifically to try the Yamaha LL-56. Yeah, it's great. Tried it against the FG9, and although the FG9 is great, I thought the LL-56 was true to Yamaha. I hope while you were there you did a comparison vid between the FG9 and the LL-56.
This place is great. I live just down the street, and as soon as I saw their inventory, I realized I was in trouble.

I will definitely check out Guitar Haus. Until recently, if you wanted to see up-scale guitars in the GTA, you went to 12th Fret or more recently, Cosmo. I welcome another local area business that sells the good stuff. Hey John, thanks for this video. I also caught your workshop at Cosmo and it was a good time.

Have you been to Folkway or thr 12th Fret? Both far more famous guitar shops in Ontario than those you menntioned JP.

Ray Mullins in Rhode Island had such a shop.
How does the lowden sound?
My buddy has a Lowden. Doesn't really do much for me. It kinda only sounds good in dadgad or open d. Guess it makes sense.
