    Totally agree with yall. Polaris is definitely making bold moves. Great moves at that.. Makes canned ham look very weak. Coming from a Yamaha guy!

    I think the powertrain pushes the ranger to the front of the line, as far as choice goes. A 1500 triple sounds awesome!

    For me it’s about the comfortable seats, ride and extra cab space of the xpedition.

    Pro Fab Outdoors makes some sic looking toppers with the choice of 3-doors,etc .

    there are several test opinions out there...wish you could get both to test. simple look at them i aske my selfe why the expedition still exist...everything seam to be better on the 1500cc...and no broken rubberbelt...everybody waiting for this metalbelt like they have them thins looong time in honda-and subaru ect. automobiles. hope for YOUR opinion on your track

    I’m taking xpedition for the suspension and the seat comfort the seats on the xpedition are the exact same seats as my trucks with leather and the hvac on the xpedition is the same thing as my grandpa Buick and I can add a street legal kit for the xpedition because it uses the same wiring as my polaris General and I added a street legal kit there and it depends on location since if you live on a farm your going to choose the ranger but if your just going trail riding and camping after your trail ride then the xpedition fits you better and I feel like the xpedition and the ranger are both test machines to see what works and what don’t work so they can upgrade there machines like the rzr General and sportsman and I have a feeling that Polaris will use the engine on the ranger to do that and I have a feeling that they will use the jbl audio system paired with the rockford fosgate roof for more sound and not only that they will probably add hvac to the general and rzr with there different hvac systems so maybe we will see a NorthStar rzr xp 1500cc with fox racing suspension and if I have to I would engine swap the new Polaris engine on the ranger with like a beater of a Prius just to see how it runs so everything there releasing now is the test machines while working on the rzr to have a NorthStar and not only that they’re probably going to be making a new side by side to have aspects of the rzr rangers General and xpedition and will say this is the new Polaris versatility side by side with the best features of the ranger rzr General and xpedition

    I don’t know what people expected with the expedition being noisy when you don’t have that back wall to act as a firewall it’s going to be noisy that’s why you should get the XP Northstar expedition That’s the one I would buy even over this one.

    I would choose the Ranger. I test drove the expedition getting in and out was crowded. Also the power distribution was disappointing. Most of all the cab noise on the Expedition is uncomfortably loud.

    The price tag is too much. It won’t be long in America that people won’t have this much money to throw away! The current administration is making sure of that.

    For those talking about cost...yes it's crazy expensive but just wait and see how long it takes to get one. They will sell no problem. I'm a big guy than has a Ranger and wants the new Ranger 1500 but won't get it if I can't license it for highway use. Neither my dealer or Polaris knows the answer yet. For sure it can't go to UTV Parks because it's over 1000 cc's and 2000 lbs. For that matter the Expedition technically is too heavy to ride in most parks. I don't really care about the park thing but some people might.

      @@desertsxs Yesterday my dealer spoke to the DNR and they said they don't care about the cc's or weight so it can be licensed in Iowa as an off road vehicle. Called the insurance guy and he can insure it as well. Just waiting on the dealer to give me a price on my Ranger to see if we can come to a deal.

    The Expedition is not quiet on the trail. Basically anything over 30-35 mph that motor just screams at 6000 rpm.

    If your a trail rider the expedition is the smart option. They did not build the ranger to be a trail rig. I think it will ride more like a jeep and you are not going to be able to hammer down in rough trails and still have a smooth ride.

    I’d much rather have the turbo diesel manual transmission mahindra Roxor. They are very well built and are proving very reliable. And like $20k

    But... that cvt wet belt in cars is the absolute worst... hot garbage comes to mind. You would never ever buy a used car with one. How did they make it durable?

      How many miles before they die in a car? Most utv’s will never see 7k miles…

      @Mshepshep here in Michigan a 3 year old ranger normally has 7 to 15 thousand miles. The CVT trans in cars can't even be rebuilt because they are so destroyed.

    Polaris is killing the game with new sxs and promo videos. The new ranger is leaps and bounds over the old one. I would really like to see honda yamaha and kawasaki make beast machines like the pro r. The japanese performance market is sad. Id like to see big hp engines big suspension 74 to 76inches wide beasts but im really shocked the japanese market known for performance is putting out these twin cylinder non turbo engine's making lil hp with small a arms, small swing arms and small radius rods i mean these are the best they have to offer!? These are in the same market as a the new polaris xp and the xp is way down the polaris food chain. Im just saying id really like to see these companies go nuts with it like polaris did with the pro r. Look at the japanese car and motorcycle industry the japanese can not be beat but in sxs industry they offer the least. I dont get it. Im a honda nut but im disappointed not just in honda but all of the japanese manufacturers in the sxs market. Im not saying they are bad machines im saying this is the BEST TOP OF THE LINE MACHINE they have to offer. Its ridiculous. Thats the part that seems like a joke to me. You have yamaha yxz for track, kawasaki krx for rock and honda talon for trails. I want to see a all around machine with big inline4 dohc engines from all of them and have honda make a vtec sxs etc. They put inline4 engines into there sport and superbikes why aren't they in sxs!? I want to see big horse power big suspension wars like they did with cars and superbikes in sxs.

      I agree I would think they have more financial banking and engineers to beat Polaris but are not focused on winning it seems
      They crush it in dirt bikes

      @desertsxs dirt bikes, superbikes/sport bikes and performance cars like skyline, supra, nsx, evo, sti, rx8 etc I mean they put inline4s in motorcycles but not in a sxs it's dumb. Like I said I love all the machines they have put out its not like they are bad machines but it's BS when that's the best they have to offer that's a joke to me

    The xpedition has far better suspension. Rangers ride like crap. It’s fake a lot of money to make it ride nice. The Swiss Army knife is the xpedition. Unless you have endless money and can afford new shocks and a hcr kit.

    Still wearing FULL FACE helmets in these? I don't want a helmet. I don't wear a helmet in my Jeep.
    Don't know why, but seeing full face helmets in SxS's is irritating.

    Ranger way a better don't buy epundiction cause its a xp 1000 with way more cheap plastic .
