I purchased this car Jan 2022 and Im not that crazy about it. I thought it would a better luxury vehicle because it is a cadillac. I traded in my 2018 jeep compass and it seemed to have all the same features but my Jeep had heated steering wheel and a smaller display.. I should have done some research and shopped around first for the price Im paying for it here in Canada..

I currently own the ATS 2.0 Turbo and I love it, it’s a beautiful car, however; I think I should’ve gotten the XT4 for more room. I actually drove the XT4 as a loaner while Cadillac was detailing my car and I was very impressed! Thanks for the review, I’m sold on it because I just love American luxury and Cadillacs plus I’m not a very picky person.
I owned an XLR and also love the brand, this xt4 was awesome 👍🏻

@@jbutterfly36 they are, one of the first hardtop convertibles, push start, adaptive cruise control and you never had to unlock or lock the door, it would do so just by walking up or walking away.
No chip for heated steering wheel, no heated rear seat, no massage, no heated or ventilated front seats, radio, etc, this must be $20,000. It can be retrofitted, yes it can be for twice the price of the car..LOL, your STUCK if you buy without those chips UPFRONT !

Is the cup holder suitable to keep big water bottles....???Also there is a problem of digital speed goes off if speed goes above 120kmtrs per hour...???
If the bottle is large it will fit and not move around, if the digital speedo goes off take it to the dealership it sounds like the screen is going bad
That’s ridiculous about the heated seats and steering wheel, will they install the chips for free once they get them?
Unfortunately no Sean because they minus it off the invoice. My bigger problem with it is that what they minus is dollars when most of these features cost thousands.

@@seancomerford5724 I agree they shouldn’t even put the buttons without the feature, just leave it blank.
I got my chip for free about 8 month's after I purchased it. I got it Jan 2022 and by they were in stock and they installed it for me no fee

You stated that the CT4 didn’t come with heated/vented seats, but yet at 7:14 on your video, it shows the heated/vented control buttons???
It was a delete, they left the buttons but it doesn’t turn on anything. The dealership said they would retro fit it when it is available.
Is there a cost to the consumer? I would hope there isn’t, for the price that is paid…
@@ChavezRA18 they discount the vehicle on the sticker and you would have to pay to install it. It is something I talk about in reviews, the cost they discount isn’t as much as you would pay to install it, it’s a con for me.

I’m surprised the very cool cylinder deactivation tech doesn’t improve the MPG more. Seems only Hybrids can get the MPG over 40 miles.

I am shocked at the lack of features the 22 TX4 has. to my great regret I traded my RAV 4 which had 100% more and better features. Cadillac without heated seats I didnt know it existed. no hands free text messaging. no heated steering whell. I will trade as soon as I can. shame on Cadillac even offering this piece of crap.
Sorry to hear but did you check the specs on this review before posting (I can understand how sales teams do not explain features), they do have heated / vented and massage seat but because of the chip problems some models maybe effected. I agree they should have it period 👍🏻
the turbo scares me as g.m has trouble with turbos taking a shit
One problem that is talked about is the carbon build up which driving and maintenance can help fix this. With turbo engines you have to drive in balance, meaning; normal, hard and everyday. Cleaning the throttle body / fuel induction / injector will help this too which is all normal maintenance.

@@sabine3769 I traded my xt4 in and got a mini countryman nothing in it but way better drive. in the future I just need to be lower to the ground in a 2 door or 4 door.
