Hey guys, back with another Borderlands 2 countdown video and today, I figured we could go over a couple of guns and weapons that are surprisingly powerful. Or in other words, guns that might not appear to be that good at first glance, however after understanding how they work, they're actually become quite powerful.

The Lascaux. I had no clue how good it was at first, but ended up using it in every early game run. It's so powerful despite the weird spray. Also SUPER easy to get
That's what I'm using until I do a restart and get a level 80 sand hawk

The Veruc assault rifle is actually pretty strong and it’s easy to farm along with the Lyuda at the same time

Nate .H I like how you're so still so salty years later that you actively attempt to hurt other people's experience with the game because you're jealous that they'll get to enjoy it in a way you never will. For the record, Bloodwing, Angel and Roland were all shocking and emotional plot developments that I could have never have expected, but I guess you wouldn't know ;)
The game has been out 7 years. It's honestly sad that after all this time you haven't found a better use of your time than trying to troll comments on CZcams. You should take this chance to take a good, long look at your life pal.
Seeing the Sawbar on this list made me happy, since I recently got one from a Tubby Skag. Just need to get my other classes to lvl 72, then maybe it would work even better than how I used it with Maya

it can kill you a lot it's not good like ever even firing swordsplotion is better than that grenade

The sister weapon to the Gunnerang in _TPS,_ the Shooterang is possibly the best pistol in the game. It's also the Tediore weapon for those who don't like Tediore weapons as it won't do damage to the Vault Hunter who throws it.

I haven't played this game in years, but I always liked conference call.
I got an insane Morning Star use of my first run. I was fighting the bunker as normal but I randomly one shot it when it was at 3/4 heath with the Morning Star stat.

i like the shrapnel variant fibber with gaige's "close enough" skill and the bee shield, a shot near them will almost land all 9 unlisted shots. pair that with anarchy and you're basically a bullet rave of madness and death
The longbow is one of those weapons I would love to try out but takes so long to farm. I mean it´s at the far end of the caustic caverns and you then always have to punch your way through into the easteregg and yeah... Basically what annoys me is that one run is gonna take almost as long as farming captain flint for the thunderball fist.
honestly i have the longbow its rolled for fire but idk how to use it and honestly i dont want too it doesnt look op at all

Weird...i got the thunder ball fist...the long bow and the other gun that drops from badass creepers...a shot gun that i cant remember its name...but shoots in a expanding wave of mine craft blocks...edit...i left out that i got all three of those guns 1st try...farmed a badass creeper just two times...so in total 3 tries and all succeeded...shits just random...
Got a corrosive Hail rifle my first time through BL2's normal mode. Both people I was playing with wrote their variants off as useless, and shortly afterward, they hated me for stealing the majority of the kills on our excursion to Opportunity by blindly firing over walls and buildings.
Still one of my favorite weapons in the game.
I got a level 30 fire pimp in normal mode and it lasted well into TVHM. Great rifle!
Its not listed here, but I like Moxxi's Heartbreaker shotgun. It reminds me of how the CC used to be before they nerfed it.

i'll admit that the part at 2:54 just cracked me up from the squeaky sounding complaints in the background.
the long bow is a reference to how bows are so you should treat it as a crossbow. The reason why it's fire is because in minecraft, the arrows become on fire when passing through lava.
For Veterans this channel is pretty dull for new players this is pretty dope
FaDe the meme I mean I've dropped 700 hours in the game (and if you saw my comment that I got the game in July... Yeah I really like this game lol) but I still watch Vinylicpuma, just because countdowns make for fun, easily digestible material.
Derch is the most technical BL2 youtuber that I've seen, his Good The Bad and The Ugly series is excellent. It can be a little dry for my tastes though to be quite honest.
Man of Low Moral Fiber is my favorite overall, though, since I play Zer0 almost exclusively, love watching the quality of his gameplay and his knowledge of the game.

I find the Tattler useful with Zer0 as he has Vel0city, which increases projectile speed as well

to be fair, every weapon can be useful if you use either Maya or slag and a Bee. even the Wonderlust can be powerful when using slag to 3x damage and bee to majorly increase damage... or even add Maya to lock the enemy in place.
Maya makes a lot of guns with accuracy trouble good like the Tattler, Longbow, Sawbar, Swordsplosion, Yellow Jacket, etc
I remember getting the BL3 longbow and while it did have a scope, I almost never used it. Treating this gun like a crossbow as the gun is fundamentally, this thing can pull off some nasty shots from a great distance if you get enough practice in.
One time, I got the legendary from that one girl in the fridge (scooters ex) and sledges shotgun, AND the gunerang, all in one run
The best Pimpernel there is,is the shock Gentlemen's Pimpernel,I got 1 for my necromancer and its amazing, I can do mostly 1 shot most enemies with my necromancer using her build,definitely farm that one,if you wanna go with either fire or corrosive go with those as well but the shock version is actually the best
The morning star also has the awesome tendency to sometimes pass over not only the crit effect but also the voice to another weapon. I did this by mistake once... I´ll never trust a harold again....

I got rid of the gunerang once I realized that, just like a BOOMERANG, it comes back to YOU before exploding.

Honestly I liked the infection on non op playthroughs. I loved the idea of melting stuff to death but borderlands has gone away from damage over times sadly. I understand why because it’s less active gameplay but I love seeing huge ticks of damage.

Just got the gunrang one hour ago, and it's my first borderlands 2 playthrough
On Salvador the pimpernel is amaazzzinnggg, get a slagged version. Have it in sal's left hand and a rocket launcher (preferably the ahab) with zero ammo. When gunzerking, sal's money shot is always active when using the combo, plus you are slagging the enemy and getting an explosive damage thanks to the rocket launcher. I've taken down the ancient dragons, the warrior, voracidous in seconds if not just a couple of minutes or so using this combo.
2:13 funny thing is while on zero I managed to get the sawbar to drop while farming the bunker
Sawbar , grog nozzle with salvador is fun to play

I can use the jolly roger weapon with zero like a jakops quad but better?

Once I got a longbow. It saved my ass numerous times on my first gaige playthrough.
You can get the Avenger from tubbies also. Same as the Sawbar. Got all of mine from them.
The Hail is tied for my favorite weapon, next to the Fibber.
Has anyone thought that gearbox may make sir hamerlock as a playable character. I mean we have his sister and he would fit the sniping role like all the past three games have. IT WOULD be awesome to play as to. I mean your playing a crazy smart gentleman that hunts anything and would be kind of funny for him to get pissed off or kill anything.
Thx4daheadshots his story is extremely complex, Where as Auralia or whatever shes cakled isnt mentioned until she actually becomes playable, it would break a lot of lore on Hammerlocks morales and experience of he were playable... Also, hes not a Vault Hunter.
Its kinda funny that the Scarlet DLC is kinda filled with strong weapons that you get like.....for free. xD
Scarlets weapons in general (those with her symbol) are damn strong. Except the revolver. The revolver is only good for movement but thats it.
Cursed Weapons have a nice synergy with Anarchy Gaige. Thats Shotgun you get for the very first tresure hunt quest is damn amazing for her. The cursed Assault Rifle is the strongest Physical weapon in the game when you can handle the curse.
The true tresure isnt at the end of the DLC but the quest weapons themself. xD

Hail is great in BL2 but it's more powerful in TPS as cryo. It'll only be powerful in BL2 once cryo is out in Bl2 in comunity patch 4.0
The Hail is the best assault rifle in Borderlands 2 by a good margin. It doesn't need "Cryo" to excell. Axton Beehailing is just as strong as Maya Beehawking.
Should make a list for top ten bad guns that are surprisingly powerful if you glitch your way to a high BAR
So I've boosted my critical strike damage then... I didn't notice, I just was thinking: "Nice, all my weapons are talking now! Arrrrrghhh!".

Surprise about the lack of a fibber or sandhawk on the list, fibber is self explanatory and the SH has ok card base dmg but it's projectile count makes up for it, and the pellets aren't on the item card
Tate O'Rourke Since the SH is a staple for most characters, i guess it does not have its place on the "underestimated" list.
But you're right about the fibber, that gun can deal an insane amount of damage if you manage to master the ricochet bullets
Tate O'Rourke Sandhawk is the most op gun in the game and everyone knows about how OP it is. Why the fuck would it be on the *_SUPRISINGLY_* Powerful guns list?
Well to be fair, the Pimpernel is in the number one spot.
Malcolm first, i would say grog is number one. Best weapon in the game. After that come many strong weapons. You cant really rank them because the characters are pretty different.

Hey I got some questions:
1. How come your thumbnail looks different?
2. You showed what level you could get some of these. why not all?
3. [not a question but still] I knew most of these would be on here, besides the pearls.
What is surprising me lately is having a high fire rate infinity, (vengeful infinity, fire rate 9.4) with the stalker class mod and sheriffs badge on my level 53 zero in uvhm. Damn thing fires so fast, it's freaking insane. I really love the fast fire rate, it just feels so satisfying. I was using it with the carry shield, the bee, in earlier difficulties, but am now using with a sham and it's just destroying. Every shot is applying one shot one kill, which makes it really tear up if I switch to my sniper class mod that has +6 on one shot one kill, but man, that fire rate on the stalker mod is just great. :)
do you think having 2 infinitys on a gunzerker would be op at 50? i have no dlcs so im kinda screwed for all the uber dlc weaps
Not really as he doesn't have the supporting class mods or skills that zero does. What is op for the zerker is a nukem / any explosive gun combo like a flakker and go gunzerk. Have the nukem on the right of the screen, and the flakker on the left. While zerking it'll do the damage of the nukem when you shoot the flakker. This is the best I can think of right now for the base game as you need dlc to get the pimpinel, which is very op when doing the gunzerk nukem / creamer / ahab set up as I described.
The Infinity is terrible.

I thought the evil smasher glitch didn’t work anymore. I thought I heard that from a few videos I watched like a year ago. If it still works I would try it out just to see what it’s like cause I never did it before. I heard Gearbox patches it so it didn’t work anymore.
