    I appreciate how you've shortened your intro, with a quick logo popup, a few notes, and then on to the content. So many CZcams teachers waste time with an overly long intro.

    Very helpful Freya. Lately I have relaxed my face and jaw much more. I feel my opera voice is now exceeding limits I would have once thought impossible. And of course, vocalising properly, gives a great resonance. Many thanks.

    Wow! Beautiful vibrato! Very angelic! I really appreciate the Ahh vowel video! I struggle with this vowel so much. I know need to improve more of my breath support to bring out more of yhe Ahh sound.....I also enjoyed how you simplified the vocal anatomy to the tee! Thank you so much! May God bless you musically more!💕🎶💕🎶

    Hi Freya, thanks for this helpful video ❤ I’m having singing lessons (I wanted to sing in a more operatic way many songs) and I’m trying to follow all the exercises every day since I began a couple of months ago. My teacher tells me to keep the cheek muscles lifted so that sound is more bright and sustained, but kn the video you say you shouldn’t do it while exercising. Also im asked to open the mouth with tongue down for high notes. Are two different ways of singing?

    Before watching this video, I was experimenting with EE, singing with the same muscles as I speak it. I immediately felt pain in the throat. That was such a contrast with the most frictionless Vowell OO. EE in the wrong way strangles me. I hope singers on tour are taking the time to evaluate what vowels might hurt them.

    Do you know why we have the natural tendency to open our mouths wider on higher notes?

    Sometimes when i sing, i personally feel that forehead muscles help me in adjusting my voice. Does it (forehead muscles) have something to do with my voice?

    • @denismorissette7318
      @denismorissette7318 Před 2 lety

      Other members help adjusting the notes or singing more on pitch. The arms and the eyes. No physical connection, I think. But they are useful to the brain.

      @@denismorissette7318 Can't think of any but it's been really difficult hitting higher notes. I'm a beginner. I don't understand how to always keep your throat open....how can people get great tones if their throat is always open without sounding like kermit the frog sometimes?

    Why is it that other music teachers suggest you have a wide smile forming a "we" when doing scales in practicing? And you say keep it nuetral... im confused unless there are certain times to exaggerate the face? I don't know anything

    • @austintheson4823
      @austintheson4823 Před 4 lety +1

      i know right. Some even suggest to lift eye brows. Lifting eye brows for me actually encourages my sound to go to my soft palate, which is good thing
