Moving production overseas really hurt. To have an iconic American brand sell out it's roots and soul is hard to get over. These shoes should be made in the USA or at least have the option to buy strictly made in the USA versions. Since they went overseas their are so many knock offs probably made at the same plants that make Vans now under cutting the brand, quality, sales and legacy of the company.

yet now a days alot of the people wearing vans are generic high schoolers who wear them to fit in.
I wore vans before they got popular at my school and I'm a artist and now alot of ppl wear them but idc cuz I let everyone be themselves like alot of ppl wear nikes

I get that Vans is staying true to their shoes and making them how they always have, BUT CAN THEY FIX THEIR FUCKING MIDSOLES? Every fucking pair within two weeks it seperates. On the Old Skools it even rips.. That shit pisses me off, i'm paying 50-70 dollars on a shoe with a foxing malfunction..
I think it's because they just now started getting big as a brand, and they have to mass produce them. When I was like 9 or 10 I never used to have that problem.
Yeah and both shoes are so nice and clean looking, and comfortable but once that midsole starts to separate it's like. well what did I just spend 50 dollars on?

Osiris makes a much better shoe . Most Vans shoes have no arch support and that creates lower back pain.

+Owened Tony Magnusson is a pro skater who designs the Osiris shoes for skating where Vans were designed for looking pretty . I understand that Vans has some pro skater designs. I am trying to make a point that Osiris shoes really do kick ass and Vans are mostly just all-purpose shoes. Emo kids wearing Osiris shoes is not a problem. Emo kids wear Vans too. Most of the Vans shoe designs are from 60's and 70's . Vans was founded in 1966. Osiris was started in 1996.
Doesn't change the fact that Osiris were and remain ugly huge neon clown clogs. You'd be better off with Supra.

ummm, they're a company and now they haven't sold out. If you knew anything about running a business you would know that a company needs to make money and by making more cloths, shoes, etc etc they can make more money.
