This will only work in flame red.
Or you can try DIALGA CODE in fire red. Treecko will appear. But one problem is it will not evolve.

TheGamerKid So you say you want to add more pokemon. I think thats a big problem cause free pokemon is limited. Its about 20 space for adding new pokemons. increase the space may cause the rom corrupt.
I reccomend you to use pokemon game editor(gamer2002) cause its the easiest tool ive ever used
