I think "Hold Your Altitude" will be my go-to for all things safety. Along with "Speed is life," and "Power is life," "Hold your altitude" reminds me to always position myself in a place where I have time to mindfully respond instead of automatically react.
Love this Ryan. Give your mind less to focus on so you can allocate your attention where it needs to go!
I like the quote, “No matter what happens, fly the airplane”
It’s an obvious one, but the most important!
I love ppg. Steep learning curve, but worth it. Safety is the duty of everyone, at least in how it pertains to others who could be inadvertently involved. OUr own personal risk/reward, doesnt apply to others. I try to assume that you need err on the side of safety, whenever ANYONE else may become involved. FUEL! Learn to carry a lot of fuel so it becomes the norm. Its just too damn easy to enjoy the flight and forget about 30 extra minutes above your original FP. More than once, I've tempted mother nature. Its those 50 second flight logs I pretend never happened. Get up in the air, sit in the seat, turn around, get out the seat and land. Yeah, Momma will let you know! Thanks for another good vid, Micah!
"LIVE AND LEARN OR LEARN AND LIVE" tony Lawrence quote
Love it!
Great video. As always! I can say # 6 hits home - I was at my home field early in the morning lots of fog, it started to break so I launched got above the clouds and the fog… Thinking it would clear up… And unfortunately it got worse. So I spent about 35 minutes circling the field even though I couldn’t see it! There was a small break and I had to go for it. Definitely was wishing I was on the ground that whole time!
Such a great example, thanks for sharing! I am definitely guilty of not flying in accordance with a lot of these, hence my desire to make this video and help keep our community safe.
Another great video. Flying is already a miracle... we can prioritize safety and still have endless fun in the sky.
Thanks man, I so appreciate the support ❤️
…and amen to that!!
I love your commentary on #6, how VERY true! It's spot on!
Thanks PJ!
Keep up the good work Micah. Great to see you here
Scott!! Thank you so much for the support man 😄
I have 8 solo skydiving jumps. Before I started I was a little scared of getting hurt or dying. At training they said the very experienced jumpers are more likely to get injured because of complacency. My very first day of ground school I saw a cut away. I was actually surprised by that and it really got me thinking about what I was about to do haha.
Excellent reminders Brother. God bless.
Thank you as always Tom! ❤️
Thank you for this video
Most certainly 🙂
So awesome
Thanks Riley!
Needed reminders to all of us. Loved the video.
Including myself! Thank you Robert.
Great video Micah. Thanks.
Oh hi Dave!! Thank you for the support ❤️
Been triking around lately??
I'm at about 150 flights and 100 hours in the sky. I worry about complacency a lot. I'm still flying with my original prop (with a few repairs). I feel like I'm due, but not if I stay diligent and remember this stuff.
Good content, Great advice! Thank you!
I love this. It’s always a good thing to worry about complacency, it’s when you get comfortable that you really need to pay attention! Thanks for the support, fly safe, blessings. 🤙🏻
Great video!
Thank you Wayne!
Great video Micah!
Great info, Micah....thanks.
X35 alum
Thanks!! Who might this be??
@@liftedppg4370 ...It's Aidan, from class one. I enjoy your videos, Micah. You and Ariana taught me to fly :)
I hope that the three of you now have a happy Thanksgiving!
@@FTroop37F Aiden! Thank you so much! We were so grateful to receive your care package for Emmett. Have you been flying much lately?
@@liftedppg4370 ... We're (Doris and I) happy for you guys. He's a cute little guy.
There are a good bunch of guys here in the Prescott area and I'm going to start chocking up some airtime with them. I've been taking classes, volunteering and working on my place in Acton CA. It can be a bit chilly here at times in the Winter but the flying weather is good. My Mojo and I will soon be taking advantage of it.
Happy Thanksgiving! :)
Hey man. Really good job on these videos, keep em coming. Plz do a video on active piloting, its something many paramotor pilots know very little about due to the weather we fly in. Cant find any videos on it on youtube.
Thank you Rickard! I most definitely will. Starting next week I will be putting out content regarding in flight things. Launching, coordinated turns, oscillation control/active piloting, glide slope gauging, etc. Thanks for the support!
I’ll take being an old pilot, please.
That’s the goal!! 😄
Funny how this is essential information, but because there is no fancy schmancy paramotor aerobatics going on the dum dum babies don’t watch this and take it seriously.
I appreciate that, I’m grateful for the subs that come from the crowd of knowledge seeking > thrill seeking. You guys are great, spread the word!
