- I came across an advertisement for a home arcade machine and was immediately inspired to create my own mini arcade machine from scratch. The idea of having a personalized Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) arcade machine was too cool to resist. After watching "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem," I knew the old school TMNT arcade game was the perfect game for my project.
Scratch building this arcade machine from the ground up turned out to be an incredibly enjoyable endeavor. Not only was the process engaging, but the end result also exceeded my expectations. The mini arcade machine now holds a special place in my personal collection, perfectly complementing my assortment of TMNT action figures.
I hope you enjoy this custom scratch built toy build video!
Thanks for visiting DR Toys, and as always...

So very cool, but I always enjoy your builds! 🙂 Game on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you 😁
God i wish they still had arcade's in malls. What a great time to be a kid. I swear once they took them all out mall, i pretty much stopped going.
💯!!!
I remember when I was a teen in San Diego we had a nickel arcade, you paid $2 to get in then all the games were a nickel!
I had another buddy that was king of the OG Street Fighter and we would all stand around for hours watching him kick butt!!😅
I was more of the NBA Jams kinda guy and Iron Man Stuart OFF ROAD, with the steering wheel.😅
Good times!
Where were you in 82? Check that movie out! It will take you back in time of the world of arcades! A time that we will never see again, infact at times I wonder if it really did happen as these times we live in is very sad.
@@quantumfx2677 was born in 82, and which movie were you talking about?
@@KennethDerricott the video craze, Where were you in 82'
@@quantumfx2677 I will totally check it out!

That would be perfect for those dollar store LED strips that are powered by 2 or 3 AA batteries, just need to make sure the inside of the cabinet is light-blocked with black and silver spray paint.
Great idea! Thanks.
I love the absolute joy you get from building and sharing! Amazing job on this!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
Love it. I spent way too much money on that game back in the day.
Street fighter was my vice!😅

That’s perfect!
Awesome, DR! I’m inspired to make a mini pinball machine based on my Halloween pin art.😊
That sounds amazing!
Love this build!
Got to say you knocked it out of the park on this build very well done sir. Hopefully we will see someone 1M robots in 1:18 Scale if so and they become available to buy I will buy them from you
Thanks! For starters we will be doing a run of 60 robots , 20 each of the three robots, in 1:6 scale. But we definitely have huge plans to blow it out in other sizes. We just gotta see how successful this first run is.😃
Excellent work! I'm planning to make one too!
Good luck! It's pretty fun.

That came out really awesome. I remember loving playing that game as a kid. I thought the new Turtles movie was great!
Same here!
Thanks.
Incredible work Dave! I think it looks just fine without the led's. I was wondering if the stencil cutting machines would cut styrene and you answered that question. Thanks for sharing this neat tutorial.
Yes, absolutely😃
Looks awesome!!!!! ❤😊❤
Thanks! 😄
@@DRToysCreations you are welcome 🤗
Awesome job 👍👍 👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
That turned out SO great! Really adorable and I’m glad it’s going in your personal collection. 🙌🏻
Thank you!! 😊
That’s so great! As I’ve said many times, I always look forward to your posts! This one brought me back to my Arcade days in the 70’s and 80’s. I still have my Atari computer in first class condition with the arcade games! Thanks again from your friend from Australia. Graeme.
That's awesome!
Thanks for taking the time to watch. I really appreciate it!
OMG, it's so cute!!! Is it ok to say it's adorable? It's perfect - it fits your action figures perfectly - the scale, the style. Great job!
I’m good with cute and adorable!😅
Thanks.
lovely work🔥
Thanks
If the bottom
Is still open, you can always put a simple tea light up in there.
Totally.❤️
Very cool & unique build Dave! Sure brings back memories of being late to 1st class due to standup machines at the convenience store a few years back, okay, MANY years back~😄
We would play Street Fighter at a small burrito shop across from or school. I had on buddy that finished the entire game! Good times!😃
Absolutely incredible work! I have yet to work with styrene although I do have a cutter. This does inspire me to do more stuff like this. And yes, you have that thing at least set up to have lights so I'm sure we'll see that in the future!
I definitely want to do that!😃
Cowabunga!
DUDE!😃

You’re welcome!😃
What a video!!! You are an amazing crafter/builder that takes me back to my childhood often and keep the detail oriented adult on the edge of my seat quite often!!! 🤠 So a question, do you still have the pattern or template or do you remember how you got it?
I built it pattern in Illustrator and I think I saved it…😅😬
If you massage me on Instagram I can get it to ya (if I can find it)

Great idea for the joysticks! The cab looks totally awesome!
Do you know the model for the scan and cut machine you used?
I got it at a yardsale so it's an older one but it's a CM550.
@@DRToysCreations Awesome, thank you!

So many great games here!!!
I have a huge list of things I want to make and there will definitely be another arcade cabinet in the future! : )
I am the only one bothered that Leo has the swords upside down in the thumbnail?! (Like why? And why?!;)
Seems I wasn't the only one triggered by that lol
I saw that as I was uploading the video at 1 in the morning! 😬
Lets just say I did it on purpose to see if people are paying attention... LOL
I has been fixed because it was driving me nuts as well. 😅
Have a great day!
If you were doing joystick controller colors to match the turtles, well, you left out Mikey. There is no yellow turtle, Mikey is orange.
So the original game had it as yellow. Totally with ya though...
