One of the reasons that the original Frisco growth is probably related to closer to legacy west which is the major part of Plano, but it has more influence to Frisco because legacy west higher salary worker prefer bigger plus newer homes with excellent ISD. However, Frisco start have major companies such as both TIAA, McAfee regional headquarters coming in. Those new companies are planning hiring few thousands employees.

Fairways of Ridgeview is a great neighborhood for that price point. It’s in Plano, but zoned for Frisco ISD so you get the best of both worlds.
