Hey Josh!!! Thanks for the rundown on Sengun! Hey man! Iâve gotta give you a major shout out for your cameo on Locked On Fantasy Baseball last week! I was very impressed as you broke down each player with Matt and Dom like you were a baseball fan all of your life! Two things Iâve always appreciated about you:
1) Doing your homework thoroughly before going on air
2) How youâre involved in your childâs life
Thatâs cool that you and your son are getting into baseball!
Keep up the fantastic work, my man!
Excellent review. I'm not a fantasy guy but I appreciate the comps. There are hints that the Rockets will be moving Sengun around more next year. I think they are expecting him to shoot the 3 a lot better. I get the vibe that they have real plans for Adams and Dillon - maybe they become the backbone of a bench unit. I get a lot of grief for suggesting that Tari is best off the bench as an energy guy - I still believe that will be his ultimate role. Amen needs to learn to shoot the 3 but he actually worked really well in the dunkers spot. I think he may start over Dillon by mid-season. Jabari needs to get stronger and develop a better inside game - I think that happens over time(they are all so young). I think Cam gets some time but he has to become a more well rounded player to play for Udoka. Fred played too many minutes - he needs a backup and that might come via Reed Shepard. Finally, the odd man out may be Jalen. Even though he had a great month he will have to be more consistent and play better defense and pass the ball to stay on a team coached by Udoka. The Rockets are a work in progress - the parts are rough around the edges and don't seem to quite fit together yet. the rockets will be better next year but I don't see a huge jump unless Sengun starts shooting 35% from three or Jalen extends his "super" month to half a season. There is a lot of evidence that Udoka wants a "star" veteran - maybe NewJersey comes to their senses and decides they need their picks back. So many variables with this team - - but I think they could win 50 games next year.
Butker intro was wildđ
I think Magic Johnson said the triple double was a pg stat. Amen has the potential to be the most toolsy pg in the league. A high level winning event generator.
Shout out to Greg Monroe
Tari 4th season. đ I really hope this is the yr. Hopefully, this yr he'll get that chance.
Whereâs the headband? đ
Thanks Josh I appreciate the shows. I would like to see Sengun play more at the 4 and maybe have Sengun and Adams starting. Butker is still the 2nd best K in fantasy football, if your playing in a league w/kickers. DB
Amen could start over brooks , if he shoots better
Josh your desk was obstructing your face during the Amen segment.
Sorry. I never got past you saying you were wrong. Tissues were piling up in the bin. đ
Cousin Kev, current Greek league legend
âŠAnd forever a Shit Bloke!
New drinking game, take a shot everytime Josh says hes running long on the show or mentions someone told him they dropped Amen in their dynasty league
Tari shot over 40% from 3 for 90% of the season. Finished 2/10 in the last 3 games (heavy injury fatigue at that point) which dropped his season percentage 5%. I feel like youâre a little too harsh on his shooting, he single-handedly won a game against the nuggets with multiple HUGE clutch threes and is decently reliable from the corner. Also way more comfortable in the midrange than even Jalen Green. Iâve watched every game of his career, even going back to LSU, and I donât think people need to âcalm downâ on him. But heâll show you next year
so, that means he had attempted 40 threes before the last three games and that is nowhere near enough to say someone is a good shooter
@@LockedOnFantasyBasketball I didnât say heâs a good shooter but you made it sound like he canât space the floor and is all-around bad on offense which I donât think is true
he's not bad on offense, but the shooting is a problem
I think you're making this harder than it is. Brooks gets moved or sees significantly less minutes, Same for Jeff Green. No more Bullock and Tate. Fewer minutes for Landale and more Jabari at the 5/Tari 4. That's how you find minutes for Cam, Tari, Amen. Stephen Adams might be too good to ignore and throw a monkey wrench into those plans. Or maybe they trade Jalen Green because they're unsure about paying him and tons of minutes open up.
I'd love for Amen to take over the Holiday role but I don't think he's ready and I think we draft a Reed Sheppard for that spot anyway. Can't play FredVV 37 minutes per night, and if you do it'll cost you because he takes half the shot clock to get the ball up the court and start the offense.
Overall I have the team at 41 wins again next season plus or minus two, as you've got to rely on those young guys more and move on from veterans.
Wait??? Every Friday night at the cluuuiub, youâre stuck behind a pole???
Greg Monroe 0.o bruuhhhhh
Senguns career in over Josh, such injuries occur in car accidents.
Thatâs blatantly untrue
Jabari needs to beef up and play Center. Their future lineup should be:
C: Smith
PF: Eason
SF: Whitmore
SG: Green
PG: Thompson
Sengun is a very skilled player, but they are not gonna win with him. He doesn't play defense and is undersized. It was shown when he got injured that the Rockets were better
Lol thats cope... rockets arent better without sengun just bc they got a run against bad/fixed position teams doesnt show that they are better without sengun ... sengun carried this team for 60 games and was mostly the only guy who performed ... stop being delusional
