Same! It was horrifying! And I got fired for speaking up
So sad that so many have to leave such young children in the care of strangers. ❤ I cannot imagine how hard that has to be every day, and then for things like this to happen 😢
This just happened in harlingen tx at the little red school house day care. The child was unresponsive and was on life support.

Day cares have bad rap these days. Can't trust anyone.
I took my oldest son to daycare for 1 week. Every day I went there to drop him off or pick him up, all the kids were crying calling me “mommy,” and begging me to pick them up. Kids I don’t even know. My son would come home covered in crusted 💩 to the point where his diaper rash was about to start blistering. The last straw was when I came to get my son they had left every door wide open. Which the front door has a code you are supposed to punch in, in order or access the building. Every door was wide open and when I walked to my sons room there was no staff. You are supposed to check kids in and out but I couldn’t find one staff member to check my son out, so I just took him and left. I expected a call from them frantically searching for my son. They never called me. Anyone could of walked in there and snatched any child and these people didn’t even care. I texted the owner saying we are never coming back and she didn’t even ask why.
Never put any of my kids in daycare again.
Parents, y'all know now your children are not safe in daycare. Will you make the hard decisions to protect your children. I'm guessing, " NO "
My son is 24 now but I made the decision and it wasn't hard. I had the ability to make that decision though. Not all parents can. I made my son my job until he matured. He never had daycare. Heidi
Stop. Stop it right now. Some parents have no CHOICE if they’re going to provide for their family. You aren’t helping their situation.
My husband and I also made that tough decision. I know some parents really have no choice, and i feel so much for them. But, we’ve been very fortunate for me to stay home with my little ones all their vulnerable years. But, i agree no one can take care of your child like you. If you have a choice, you should.

My worker had no choice. From what I know she doesn't have family because her adopted parents died one cancer the other one heart attack when she was 22. And her husband family disown her husband because of her race. When there second child was born her husband was diagnosed with Cancer too after years he passed away. She was left alone with a 6 year old and a 3 year old. Those 2 are her life. I got to know her better out of work more she and I live a few blocks from each other.
The father saw the suspicious behavior. The father drove immediately to the daycare to get his son. I just find it interesting that the title of this video is "Austin MOTHER claims..." I miss the days when news was accurate.
I miss the days when people could actually understand between the lines. The lawsuit is mainly being led by the mother, the mother is named in all public documentation while the father is not. Just because the father saw the behavior does not mean he is the one publicly accusing them. It isn't hard to understand this. But you just have to complain.
@@MathieuCastro News reporting should be about accuracy, not reading between the lines. That's what makes it 'news' as opposed to 'making things up' or 'guessing what happened'. I believe accurate news is important. If you view that as a complaint, well, I can live with that.

I get put down,belittled ,made fun of and harshly judged for being a stay at home mom. We struggle a little with money and people wonder why I'd rather stay at home with my children. As long as we can get by I rather be the one caring for my children then things like this happening.

Soooo these prior investigations weren't made public? I swear our country has little to no respect or care to want best for our children. It's only after a disaster happens that can't be covered up it's forced to come in to the light. And this will never change

How do these people become daycare workers? It is ridiculous. I cannot believe that they do not monitor these people before they put them in a classroom with kids. They should give them complete training how to deal with any situation my daycare when my kids were young was amazing. My son was ADHD and he was the biggest handful I’ve ever seen. They handled him with amazing, amazing grace, kindness, and love, this kid was horrible. I’m telling you he was awful and they just continuously worked with him giving him praise and love and attention and guidance constantly trying to re-assure me that they were going to get through this together. I was ready to give up my son was a handful, he would bite other children he would kick he would scratch he would throw his food when he didn’t like something he was horrible.. They were amazing. He even slung his cowboy boot off at a pregnant daycare worker hitting her in the stomach…. I thought I was going to get sued before it was all over but they worked with me and they worked with my son and we got through it years later my son went to visit the daycare and they said they were so proud of the way he grew up and that if they could live through him, they could live through any child lol‼️
She needs to be in prison.

I don't know if i would be able to go to authorities. I would immediately pick up my child and make sure they're ok. As for the "caregiver" let's just say she would be dealt with accordingly.
Authorities don't do much to these people. They basically get a slap on the wrist and do this to someone else's child.
my husband and I gave up a lot just so I could stay home with my kids till they got old enough to be to talk..it was worth! They are adults now and have me to bring them to if they needed....its almost like you need a body cam now!
Every child and elderly parent should be taken care of at home . People can’t be trusted with our loved ones and everyone knows that .
This is why I broke my neck to send my kids to Austin Montessori. Protect your children above all else.
People dont realize this but a lot of daycare centers/ preschools dont require any sort of formal education for employees. If you are over 18 and can pass a criminal background check, you are hired. The centers do this so they can justify paying such low wages to employees. Ive seen all kinds of people who cant get other jobs go into early childcare because its an easy hire. These people should NOT be near children.

Don’t trust daycare with your child until they can at least verbalize and tell you what went on that day. I understand that life happens, but if you aren’t in a position in life where one parent can stay home with a child, perhaps reconsider having a child. While we may want to “have it all,” we can’t.
If people can't afford to stay home to take care of a kid, they shouldn't have a kid at all

The children courtyard in flower mound Texas is a horrible daycare too. Exposed my toddler to a 70 yr old ladies blood multiple issues with not changing my son all day with feces on his clothes they are a big chain and they have daycares everywhere in Texas so I’m not surprised at all; it was a real nightmare they can’t keep staff or directors 😞😭😞

I hear so many bad things happening at daycares. I’m fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my son
I was able to be with my kids and I’m very thankful for it. And my children thankfully that they have 1 parent that stays home.
And if that where ever to change I have made it well know I will watch the children. They are not going to daycare.
Unfortunately I work but I am very happy with my daycare center and everyone there has been wonderful, to my knowledge. It happens far too often that these daycare workers are awful people so I'm really lucky
