He was touring with FOY VANCE & I guess he felt that particular song fit the theme of the toxic father son relationship in that show. 4 - And finally...The best cover of this song came via a 16 year old girl named Koryn Hawthorne, whom sung the bejesus out of it while a contestant on season 8 of THE VOICE. I highly recommend it and the original song by Foy Vance.
