Actually 1994 is the year of Riverdance.
Awwww, thank you for the second place!)))
My favorite one is Cyprus. I looove her voice and the lyrics and her performance. I really love this year. So many beautiful songs!

Another excellent year for ESC, with Eastern Europe finally joining the fun. Spain and Lithuania are the only two songs that do nothing for me, even though they're not terrible. Even though there are maybe better Portuguese songs, Sara's song has a very special place in my heart and is my fave from Portugal and of that year. Also love the duet powerballads from Sweden and Norway.
Eastern Europe fucking Eurovision up
Yes! Poland was my fav this year and i'm glad you did not rank it low like some other would
1 Hungary 2 Russia 3 Poland 4 Portugal 5 Estonia 6 Switzerland 7 Ireland 8 Cyprus 9 Norway 10 Lithuania
Hungary this year is my favorite song in the entire contest (1956 to now).

Stick with the Pandas as you know nothing about music
@@djbillybopdjbillybop2817 I know a lot of music, Hungary should have won in 1994!
@@pinkpanda6184 I am with you with Hungary I work for a Radio Station from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 1 pm and even on Christmas Day from 7pm to 10pm
now every day I have at 11 am I have a slot Called Eurovision Revision where Listeners would Text or Phone in for their Fav year and 3 songs well 2. I pick one also
and we play 3 in a row I am 21 years with this station and in the 20 years, I say I only got winners wrong 4 or 5 times. Now I have to agree with you with Hungary as I also Tipped it to win and I had a nice bit of money on it now it was 4th and I think should have won my point was you have Ireland in 14th place that is your opinion and Ireland gave Hungary 12 points. So I take back about you not knowing music but I have been a judge in many Singing Competitions. Ireland got 8,...12 points from Croatia, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland. Poland got 5...12 points from Croatia, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland.
Hungary got 4... 12 points from Ireland, Finland, Poland, Sweden.

Switzerland very underrated this year for me 😭
So I'm currently making my way through the 90s tournaments in full as we speak with a couple of other people. I just finished up watching this one yesterday:
25 - I don't dislike this song, but it felt a very obvious last place from the start. His voice just combines with the style of song in a bad way to create a mundane effort. (LITHUANIA)
24 - Oh no, it's the utter meme of a song that I couldn't stop singing. He's so strained and exaggerated yet looks so scared. Hilarious. (SPAIN)
23 - Aw, I actually like this one, but it's pretty weak. It feels very samey for too long until the solid chorus comes in. (SLOVAKIA)
22 - A terrible start in this performance, and they have little charisma, but it got better as it went along. The chorus has memorability too. (MALTA)
21 - I predicted this to get fifth after watching the tournament (lol), because I thought it was the most solid of the duets this year. Admittedly, it is a little weak in areas and just really wrap itself up fully as a package, but I thought it was charming and enjoyed the chorus. (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)
20 - I understand that this maybe had too much going on, but I was very impressed from my first watch and it still feels criminally judged. I'm not sure why it didn't stick with people. (ROMANIA)
19 - Oh god I love this song too much. All of the vocalists on stage are strong - shoutout to the backing singers - and the general atmosphere of the song is lovely. (CROATIA)
18 - It's just another Yamma Yamma from Iceland in '92 but with a bit more flavour and better singing. It's alright. (GREECE)
17 - This is a grower. Very nice pacing to it, although it does feel similar to quite a few German/Austrian songs in the 90s so far. Wish she could've sung it a bit better though. (AUSTRIA)
16 - This song has been one of my favourites from '94 since I heard it. Good atmosphere and pacing, and her voice matches the song really nicely. (Iceland)
15 - Eh, this just goes straight through me, honestly. It's objectively a good song, but it doesn't fit me personally. Maybe I have Portugal fatigue from expecting to predict their placements wrong so much. (PORTUGAL)
14 - *Insert rubbish 90s song that I like but does badly in the table* (FINLAND)
13 - I haven't felt this one yet. I think it was one of the weaker duets, and I just don't think the two singers mesh very well vocally. Maybe I need to give it a few days or so to sink in, but currently I don't like it. (NORWAY)
12 - A '94 curveball and a wonderful one. Really good fun, even though it feels wrong to like. They keep the high tempo up so well. (GERMANY)
11 - Just quite a frail entry, really. I don't think it's quite awful, but just very weak and unrefined. (ESTONIA)
10 - Oh dear, I predicted this to do decently. I do still think it's quite alright. It feels inoffensive and endearing. (NETHERLANDS)
9 - I thought this was incredibly average at first, but it has already grown on me a bit. Solid performance. (SWEDEN)
8 - I really like this one. Very good instrumental, and her voice matches the song well. The backing singers annoy me slightly though. It doesn't feel like they let the song breathe. (UNITED KINGDOM)
7 - I don't rate this one at all. It feels strained, rushed and raw. (SWITZERLAND)
6 - This is just objectively very, very good good. It does feel like it wears itself out a little at times though. (POLAND)
5 - The premise for something really good is here. I like the staging and she puts on a good performance visually. However, her vocals are a bit too unpolished to push it that bit further. (FRANCE)
4 - A perfectly pleasant song and was always going to hold its own well. It's not something to my personal taste but it's objectively a well done package. (IRELAND)
3 - Despite only being one place off in my prediction for it, I need to watch it in full again because it hasn't really sunk in yet. It's the song from this year that I have the least opinion on, really. (CYPRUS)
2 - Very enjoyable watch. If she had a little more control of her vocals this could've done even better. Still like it a good amount. (RUSSIA)
1 - Yeah, this is just a beautiful one. Very delicate but compelling. The slow panning of the camera also helps the pacing of the song even more. Very good. (HUNGARY)
18. Greece you say "iceland" yamma yamma. It's not iceland it's finland

The 1995 must be held in Budapest or Warsaw
I think that we can all agree that women had much stronger debuts than men in 1994. Russia, Hungary, Poland, and Estonia all had really lovely songs. Ireland is a worthy winner, as the nostalgia they sing about feels real. Cyprus is another really powerful song. Cyprus was really on fire in the 90s in general. I also really like Switzerland, and I am glad it wasn't underrated on your list. Also, agree about Netherlands. It's a type of a ''dated'' ballad I usually really tend to like. Your country Sweden also had a good song, as well as your neighbors from Norway. Overall, it's a very solid year.
Poland ❤🇵🇱
Agree with you about top 3
My dad always videotaped Eurovision, and for some reason I just LOVED watching those tapes, over and over again. Most favourite entries from back then are still my favourites, but sometimes for different reasons. (Russia -94 was mostly about the awesome dress when I was a kid. Now I still really like the dress, but appreciate the song as well.) When I go through the songs now I also realise that some entries that I didn't care for as a child are actually really good. I just realised a few weeks ago that I now really like the -94 estonian entry. When I was a kid it was just "some boring old lady". I think I watched more than listened when I was a kid.
MY 1994 TOP-10, from Spain:
1- UNITED KINGDOM
2- CYPRUS
3- MALTA
4- SWITZERLAND (too much underrated)
5- RUSSIA
6- POLAND
7- SLOVAKIA
8- FRANCE
9- SWEDEN
10- FINLAND (horrible arragement and poor performance, but the song was GREAT).
Also the year of the hat trick
Here are my personal votes/rankings, i'am from the Netherlands

10 points: Sweden - Marie Bergman & Roger Pontare - Stjärnorna
8 points: Iceland - Sigga - Naetur
7 points: Norway - Elisabeth Andreasson & Jan Werner Danielsen - Duett
6 points: Portugal - Sara Tavares - Chamar a música
5 points: Spain - Alejandro Abad - Ella no es ella
4 points: Slovakia - Tubla Tanka - Nekonecná piesen
3 points: Romania - Dan Bittman - Dincolo de nori
2 points: Poland - Edyta Gorniak - To nie ja!
1 point : United Kingdom - Frances Ruffelle - We will be free (lonely symphony)
Thanks for putting Russia 2nd, it really was a good debut!
As a hungarian, thank you very much! 🤗
Thanks for 11th !
Same winner here ! 1994 is a special year since it's the only time I ranked my own country (France) last.
Dincolo de nori is the most criminally underrated entry in ESC history. 21st place in the contest and here 20th is just scandal. I can deal with all other rankings no matter how it is but this one is a big scandal.
+Stefan Sigfinnsson I think it's good, but there are other entries I like this year. Everyone doesn't have the same taste.
+Stefan Sigfinnsson For me, Estonia 1998, Romania 1998 and Slovakia 1998 are criminally underrated in Eurovision history
indeed they are underrated
+Lina Llorente WOW true!

UniversalMen 17 - Some of your comments seems to have disappeared, perhaps? xD
LillaMyEurovisionSwe Ugh, yeah, I tend to rush these comments so sometimes I miss stuff out. I was going to say that Austria is listenable and I only like this and 1996's Slovak entries. :)
Hungary should won over the two sad old men in the pub with their dreary ballad, I swear the winners of 1992 and 1996 are still better than them
My points to the entries:
Russia🇷🇺 1p

I really don't get how Ireland could be the winner this year. So many great entries, such a good year, and the juries chose to vote for the snooze-fest? I mean, the irish song wasn't bad exactly, but come on...

Rip Jan Werner Danielsen the guy from Norway who sadly died in like 2002 at age 30 an amazing singer with an amazing voice rest in piece man love from Norway hands down Duet was our best entry in the 90s after Nocturne and Living my life without you
Why anyone don't like Lithuania's song :(
I like it but it's only around my 18th...
@@imabighypocrite8682 It's better than 25th
Ireland
Italy? They didn’t participate in 1994
Am I the only one who dislikes the winning entry? BTW, Lithuania's entry remains not only one of the best Lithuanian entries ever, but one of the best entries of 1994 - a quite mediocre year. I listen to it very frequently, so it's not a forgettable entry at all.
IE and HU sound so boring for me...
