You're my favorite content creator. So real and wholesome. I think it's great you have the ability to have a vacation home and a regular home. I treat my parents house as my vacation house as they have a pool. Lots of memories made there through the year.
I have two children 13 and 7 and I find through the summer they go to bed a lot later. Even the last month of school with the sun setting so much later I find their bedtime times creep later and later as well.
If Tiffani was a door - she would be that yellow door !!! So bright, calming, beautiful & cheery!

Everything looks great! I think I’d paint the red stairs white and the brown outdoor table (near the outdoor sofa) black. You could also bring in more pastels in addition to the yellow doors if you want to channel Rainbow Row from your Charleston trip! More pastels could be really beachy and pretty!

Hi Tiffany when you plant get the bottom of the plant and loosen the roots. The deck looks awesome and yes to the yellow door. Every year it gets better, a lot of memories being made.

Yes I was going to mention that. The poor plants get so root bound in their tiny pots. Loosening them is like helping them breathe!!
I like the stairs the same as yellow, with some research first, or paint over white, with yellow touches:) yard looks cute!

We also have wooden front steps. I HIGHLY recommend a product called "deck over". We got it from Home Depot and you can choose from a wide variety of colors. It's easy and very durable.

I'd paint the small table the dark gray you used for the outside shower to match your outdoor dining table to match the chairs! Also, I would paint your deck stairs and yellow door the same matching gray as well! Love the 4th decor looked so pretty! 🇺🇲🎇

Personally for the deck I'd spend the money and get trek deck (if you have the funds for it) if you want it as wood and want to paint it id sand and restain it.. but also that's so much work

Tall grasses and Russian sage would look nice where hydrangeas are. Very beachy and easy to maintain. Some drifted wood as decoration and it would look great.

I’m not sure what you’d do about the red deck stairs. Is it pain or stain? See the condition of the wood and consider stripping it or re painting.
That wood step is interesting. Kinda gives that beach vibe but doesn’t match the nice deck you have by the white rocks.

Everything looks amazing ❤ I would paint the front steps a grey color and the rest white to make everything pop . Im a plant girly and have over 20 hydrangeas, they actually dont love direct sun , they like morning sun and afternoon shade , just incase they dont make it … its them not you 😂
Love the yellow doors!! It really pops with the blue siding. As far as trying to change the red decking I believe you can buy this paint/ stain that resurfaces your deck into trex texture. It should cover the red staining.

Thanks! We didn’t have any yellow left so just used what we had. Eventually we’re getting a new shower. I’m too claustrophobic to shower there because the top is enclosed 🤣
I would paint the red stairs a gray color and leave the railings white. I think it would still be beachy and match the blue and yellow of the house. Valspar has a porch paint that is non-skid and is already gray.

Paint the stairs yellow to match the door!! Maybe add a yellow decor on the porch somewhere to tie it all together. Also, I highly recommend planting some cosmos seeds or any perennials herb/flower seeds by the hydrangeas so you don’t have to worry about them but they’re super pretty and filled in. Looks like such a lovely spot and Home! 💗🌼

Your hydrangeas will be fine. If you feel like they need a little help, order a little bottle of liquid root stimulator. It helps them adjust to their new environment.
I would get paint samples for wood and choose a color that would be weather resistant

Could you put a paint stripper down and scrape up the red paint, then sand down and stain them? It would take some arm muscle, but would look so good.
I would do white railings and black stairs.
