- damianbacci.com This past March I was asked to join Bill Haley Jr. and The Comets again at their gig at the Florida Strawberry Festival. I had a amazing time sitting in with them and it's so much fun performing those classic Bill Haley songs. It was truly a great day of music and fun :)

Man he sounds just like his old man. I’m 58 now and grew up in radio stations as my dad was a DJ and voice over guy.. grew up with one of the largest rock n roll record collections in the Southern Hemisphere. Great video ❤️

My band mate has a 6120 and it just has that Gretsch sound. I can’t describe it, I just know it when I hear it. No other guitar sounds like a Gretsch.

Recently saw Bill jnr at the Wildest Cats gig in UK Damian. Great set and sound. He told us lots of interesting facts about his dad and on the night he played it would've been Bill seniors 99th Birthday. Was Ace.

Thank you. Loved the vid and the music. Could you tell me the brand and gauge of strings you use? I have been watching your channel for some time and I love the background you give to the tunes and the players. Really great work D.B.
Certain guitars of mine have different gauges and different brands of strings. Also I like to use roundwounds on some and some have flatwounds. On that guitar I've been putting 11-49 gauge Elixir Nanowebs for about 8 or so years. I tend to break strings a lot from hitting hard and these strings are harder for me to break. And with all the humidity in Florida the coating on the Elixir's saves me from changing strings often.
You are the cat's Meowww Damian ...love the concert excerpts ...thanks...trying to decide and hopefully you can guide me in what you would choose in between a Heritage or Sire or maybe even a Gibson 335 ..what do you vote for price & quality wise?
Those guitars are all really great. What are your thoughts on the the inspired by Gibson Epiphone ES-335? I haven't played one but I've heard good things. I had even thought about getting one but I'm really happy with my Epiphone Dot.

I noticed on the fender super reverb there's two inputs going into the two channels, do you have two guitars going into the same amp? Or is the other input used for something else?
