It might take a little longer than that but it can get it done. Sounds like you’re planning to dig a grave. The hardest part is having to move to get better positions to continue to dig while also not being able to get the dirt far from the hole while digging. Whenever I dig deep I have to move the tractor several times. I also have to stop to move the dirt. When digging the dirt is only to the right or left. If not planned correctly the pile might end up in you next best dig spot. If you have a trailer to load the dirt in it may speed things up. I don’t have that so that could be why it takes me so long to dig. I hope my words are helpful

How long do you think it would take to dig a hole 4 feet wide 6 feet long and 6 feet deep on your john deere would you say maybe 2-3 hours?

I would say I got at least a good 5-6 feet. I had to get down in the hole to continue to dig. This thing can get it done. Just takes time
Good finesse with the backhoe Shaw. Was curious on how you are going to fill the pond with water? That hole just keeps getting bigger.
