one thing i did to get passed any chance they pull out a monster to stop the attack was add heavy armored train Ironwolf. Pretty hilarious to whip out when your opponent has full board but no battle negates or removal.
This is the awkward part of infinitraks with all the level fives you run, thats one reason i like running the gearframe version over metalcruncher cause it frees you up to not require 3 of all your searcher, dozer in particular, but it has its trade offs
Don't you get nervous playing one Machina Overdrive? It's such a good card even when ashed on activation. You can shuffle back all your banished infinitracks.
It's searchable when you need it and I find that you usually only need to resolve it once. The main reason is you're basically forced to make space for Ash and maxx c in master duel so space os very tight.

Maxx C really should be banned yet it never will be. It creates a lose-lose situation when your opponent activates the funni cockroach. Either you dont summon and hope they bricked, or get destroyed anyway cuz they got full combo. Pot of Greed was banned because drawing cards was extremely powerful, yet Maxx C isnt because "Oh well uh just dont summon 4head" or some bullshit
You just need Machina Redeployment. Activate redeployment, search Metalcruncher and Fortress Normal summon cruncher, reveal 3 harvester to add harvester. Discard Harv + Fortress to summon the Fortress. Link summon Ancient Gear Ballista with Cruncher + Fortress. Add Box, Box effect add Trencher. Discard Trencher + Box to summon Fortress from the GY. Banish Trencher to summon Harvester from the GY. Harvester effect add Dozer. Harvester other effect target Fortress, 2+7=9 Overlay for True King of All Calamities. Then you can use the Dozer + Ballista to keep comboing.

Yeah I've since switched to the gearframe build, especially in IRL TCG where the Gearframe/Regulus synergy is so spicy

You don’t need negates when you have big number :)
Funnily there is a Earth Machine deck with a negate using Therion King Regulus. Sadly not in Master Duel yet but its a nice variation people play.

I find second is better jsut because a brick is possible and there are more options to OTK going second but idk about other earth machine players
You can build it either way, lots of traps for going first, or lots of handtraps and blowouts for OTKs
