- For today's video, I chose the F-14A from Tamiya. I like the first production series aircraft from the VF-1 "Wolfpack" unit, so I decided to make a small conversion. I used accessories from Czech company Aires from QuickBoost and Wheeliant edition. Tamiya models are one of my favourites and I consider them to be the top of plastic model production technology. So why not make it a little more difficult for yourself?

Amazing build and the VF-1 markings look so quintessentially "F-14." That bit of flashy-ness without being too wild. Thanks for sharing your hard work so we all can learn and benefit!
The Czech Republic might be a small country, but it's filled with great people 😉
Greetings from Germany 😉
Thank you for creating such a detailed tutorial. I'm about to begin building this kit and will use your video as my guide. I appreciate you sharing your talent with us.
Perfektní práce. 👏👏👏
Merci ..
Beatiful work. Airfix 1/72 in this scheme was the first model I built as a kid.
Was about to ask why all the addons to make it an early version, then you revealed the kit being used 😅 Looks sensational as with all your previous creations
Thank you all for your feedback. For the early version, the most important is the "Beaver tail", the sensor and the modification of the rudders. The others are just improvements to the kit...
great job and amazing scratchbuilding detail
Hi Josef, that was a excellent build, your attention to detail was truly great, I have liked the F-14 since watching it in the movie Final Countdown, best regards from Australia, Les
Veľmi pekné spracovanie. Radosť sa na to pozerať.
Amazing kit and build!!!
Fantastic build Josef, the early version looks great.
Very nice jet kit build. Love jets looking nice.🤩☺️😁😀😊⭐⭐💯🧭
Absolutely beautiful build. Thank you for sharing.
That was quite superb.....and a great watch 👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Excellent work, I love the marking choice!
Great Build! ... When you pose it for take off, roll the tail planes down as the pilots hold back on the stick when they are launched.
IT is looking awesome, really Do. thank for sharing. i have learned such of things. thank you and have a nice Day 👍👍👏👏
outstanding work as always !!! Carry on my friend !!!
V skutočnosti to bolo pancierové sklo.
Díky. O "blinkrech" vím, neohlídal jsem si překlad. Dělá mi to letecký laik...
Excellent build, I had no idea the kit came with the deck, I wish more companies did that. The decal for the wing swing is also an interesting addition. Thanks for sharing your talents once again.
Incredible effort and details......
Very interesting build. Great work.
Josef as always! Super build and superb attention to detail. I seriously wait for when you upload a vid, your quality of builds is above and beyond everything else out there!
Just wanted to say nice build. I need to get mine out of storage and build it.
Awesome build, Josef 💥👍💥
One of my very first kits was the old airfix of the same
Parádní🙂
Perfect job
beautiful
Amazing job , hell of a lot of after market though. Thought canopy masks were over kill as after building it my self kit ones are just as good. Still bravo on your work 👍
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Nice work dude 👍👍
6:21….wow I’ve been trying this the wrong way. So much easier your way!
awesome !!!
At the end of the beautiful job, how much money you had spent?
The kit was the most expensive. The accessories cost about 45 euros. But the investment in accessories was worth it.
It look ok I guess
A very nice build, any chance of getting a link to the accessories you purchased I'm in the US and I would consider purchasing some of them

kolko zabrala stavba filmovanie a nasledny strih?
Stavba nevím, neměřil jsem to. Střih a grafika cca 30 hodin.
Great build, however this is a very early tomcat so it has a beaver tail, not the one in the kit! Also incorrect vents around the gun. Wheels are of a different version as well.
Isn’t that why he added the Quick-boost resin conversion to the beavertail?
@@jmo3457 no it’s a completely different design which is square and does not have the two cut outs!
Ah! I thought maybe it was the right QB kit but the two dialectic panels were left off. They were on the resin block at the beginning and he was test fitting them 11:07 but in the end left them off. I’ve seen reference material that says and shows they were often left off.
@@jmo3457 Yes unfortunately this catches many people out, this very early tail is the same as the development aircraft and for quite a few production A/C. Not sure you could just take off the dielectric corners though as it’s of a different profile. I do remember seeing them fitted as so in 1977 onboard the Kennedy. Nice to sit in a Tomcat also had the same privilege in RF-8G,, if only I could go back onboard now!
The plane I built (VF-1, number 114) has the dielectric panels dismantled in the photos. It can also be seen in the photos that I show in the video. They often flew without them, and sometimes with only one...
