Although my main profession is a firefighter, models have been my hobby since I was a child. I got from paper models to plastic ones, which I have been working on for more than 30 years. For my modeling work, I have worked with many modeling companies, mainly with Eduard and Aires. For several years I have also been a correspondent for the Czech magazine Modelář. I would like to pass on my modeling experience and so, with the support of my sons and my wife's tolerance, this channel was created.

F-14A Tomcat 1/48 Tamiya

Another model built within 24 hours is the Hobby Boss Avenger. Of course again in 1/48 scale. I used wheels from ResKit and some photoetchers from Eduard for improvement. So ...
Savoia Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero 1/48 Eduard Heavy Retro
Základ tvoří díly starého modelu vyrobené technologií short-run a rezinových odlitků, doplněné o nové leptané díly a obtisky. Jako první vydávají italský torpédový bombardér Savoia Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero. Model byl vydáván v 90tých letech pod značkami Classic Airframe a Fla...

I never understood why so much time and effort is put into super detailing these models, and yet they make the panel lines so dark. You would never be able to see most of these panels from a couple feet away on the actual aircraft, is there a reason for this?
Nice amount of weathering - most modellers overwork the weathering and end up looking too dark but yours is great!
thumps up, great work! What type of cement do you use when glueing painted parts together? Thank you very much for your feedback.
Thank you all for your feedback. I most often use Tamiya Extra Thin glue and GSI's Mr.Cement S. Of course sometimes also super glue and Revell Contakta.
Very comfy Gran Turismo vibes in these vids, nice work!
I have a question whether 24 hours means that the model was made in one day or that the work on the model (building and painting) lasted 24 hours, not counting the drying time.
Thank you all for your feedback. I spent 24 hours building the model, but in between I slept, ate and went to work... Color drying, using GSI's Mr.Color is a matter of seconds, minutes at most.
Amazing work!
I wonder if the paint job of the VF-1 Wolf Pack Tomcats inspired the look of Hikaru Ichijo's VF-1J Valkyrie "Vermillion One" in the original SDF Macross TV series? It's well known that Roy Focker's VF-1S "Skull One" copied the paint scheme that the real-life VF-84 Jolly Rogers used for their F-14A Tomcats in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It never occurred to me until just now that the VF-1 Wolf Pack paint scheme does resemble the Vermillion One appearance.
I have built the TU-160 and really enjoyed it. Fairly simple kit, the detail will be a bit more chunky in areas compared to the B-1. Looking forward to your build.
Awesome. Since two kits are involved, can we expect a 2 plus hour video? I really looking forward to this.
I built the models only from the box without accessories. I think the video will not be longer than usual (30-45 min). But I haven't started editing the video yet, so we'll see...
Good after. I had viewed your channej from time to time, sorry but now you got mynatention. At this time, your skills are oof my scope but you've got to answer me this one thing, the doorjams ,for the life of me, i just can't make them look naturally as they always are deep and wide. Chrysler muscle never had the quality of their competitors GM & FORD. Any help would be appreciated. See ya, Alex Lupsor from the once beautiful Canada, that was before the empire, the then lib trudeau effect. Now, that i know there is no answer. By the by, are you the pilot of that beautiful Apache i saw or not. Man you got that car body to look like metal shell. Fabulous
Hello, I'm certainly not an Apache pilot, unfortunately. I'm only a firefighter from the Czech Republic... The lines around the doors need to be sanded a little and deepened with a sharp scriber on some models. Sometimes they are very wide and it is better to fill them with putty and mark them again with a scriber.
Wspaniałe! Przyjemnie się ogląda taki proces budowania. Mega inspirujące. Na pewno prowadzi pan bardzo satysfakcjonujące życie.
Espetacular!!👏👏👏
It's a masterpiece! 😍🤩
Outstanding!!! Brilliant!!!
Perfect build 👍👍👍
:) You build EARLY Tomcat, with LATE main wheels hubs and LATE AIM-7 Camo 😛
Thank you all for your feedback. My wheels are correct. I wasn't sure about the AIM-7's coloring and was mainly drawing from these photos. But I can't have a completely perfect model... www.seaforces.org/usnair/VF/Fighter-Squadron-1.htm www.reddit.com/r/acecombat/comments/9hsiw0/f14a_of_vf1_wolfpack_in_the_70s/#lightbox
@@DetailsScaleModels Wheeliant don't have in offer early wheels hub so you have F-14 wheels but for LATE blocks :) Of course painting is perfect but some details need to be consistent in the convention you have chosen with early 'beaver tail' from QuickBoost
Amazing build, great detailing. Respect
Perfect job
Thank you for creating such a detailed tutorial. I'm about to begin building this kit and will use your video as my guide. I appreciate you sharing your talent with us.
Merci ..
Hey man love your videos. I'm curious why you don't like using filler for gaps.
Thank you all for your feedback. Putty in large layers sinks over time. That's why I first fill the larger gaps with plastic and super glue, and only then use the putty.
Hey man love your videos. I'm curious why you don't like using filler for gaps.
awesome !!!
Amazing build and the VF-1 markings look so quintessentially "F-14." That bit of flashy-ness without being too wild. Thanks for sharing your hard work so we all can learn and benefit!
Amazing kit and build!!!
A very nice build, any chance of getting a link to the accessories you purchased I'm in the US and I would consider purchasing some of them

Hi Josef, that was a excellent build, your attention to detail was truly great, I have liked the F-14 since watching it in the movie Final Countdown, best regards from Australia, Les
Very nice jet kit build. Love jets looking nice.🤩☺️😁😀😊⭐⭐💯🧭
The Czech Republic might be a small country, but it's filled with great people 😉 Greetings from Germany 😉
Nice work dude 👍👍
Perfektní práce. 👏👏👏
very good yes, well weathered
kolko zabrala stavba filmovanie a nasledny strih?
Stavba nevím, neměřil jsem to. Střih a grafika cca 30 hodin.
At the end of the beautiful job, how much money you had spent?
The kit was the most expensive. The accessories cost about 45 euros. But the investment in accessories was worth it.
Parádní🙂
IT is looking awesome, really Do. thank for sharing. i have learned such of things. thank you and have a nice Day 👍👍👏👏
beautiful
Fantastic build Josef, the early version looks great.
6:21….wow I’ve been trying this the wrong way. So much easier your way!
Great Build! ... When you pose it for take off, roll the tail planes down as the pilots hold back on the stick when they are launched.
Excellent build, I had no idea the kit came with the deck, I wish more companies did that. The decal for the wing swing is also an interesting addition. Thanks for sharing your talents once again.
That was quite superb.....and a great watch 👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Masakr
Excellent work, I love the marking choice!
great job and amazing scratchbuilding detail
Great build, however this is a very early tomcat so it has a beaver tail, not the one in the kit! Also incorrect vents around the gun. Wheels are of a different version as well.
Isn’t that why he added the Quick-boost resin conversion to the beavertail?
@@jmominis no it’s a completely different design which is square and does not have the two cut outs!
Ah! I thought maybe it was the right QB kit but the two dialectic panels were left off. They were on the resin block at the beginning and he was test fitting them 11:07 but in the end left them off. I’ve seen reference material that says and shows they were often left off.
@@jmominis Yes unfortunately this catches many people out, this very early tail is the same as the development aircraft and for quite a few production A/C. Not sure you could just take off the dielectric corners though as it’s of a different profile. I do remember seeing them fitted as so in 1977 onboard the Kennedy. Nice to sit in a Tomcat also had the same privilege in RF-8G,, if only I could go back onboard now!
The plane I built (VF-1, number 114) has the dielectric panels dismantled in the photos. It can also be seen in the photos that I show in the video. They often flew without them, and sometimes with only one...
Beatiful work. Airfix 1/72 in this scheme was the first model I built as a kid.
