I am an Arsenal fan here. But I think we had Peter Opportunities last year, more than this year, to win the league, but we bottled it, because of the immaturity. This year the team look more experienced and mature, but still it can go either way. Fingers crossed, we can do it.

Everyone acts like the Bayern game was some catastrophe. Arsenal made a couple mistakes and paid for them but, no matter what people think or say, Bayern has individual players that rival any team in the world. Bayern are by no means a bad team and Arsenal were arguably the better of the two regardless of the draw. I guess since they need content they'll turn anything into a crisis but Arsenal just need to stay focused and stay smart.
How were Arsenal better when Bayern had an xG of 2.1 to Arsenal's 1.2? Controlling 60% of the possession makes them a better side?

I spent half that comment talking about how good Bayern are and you retort with a comment telling me i'm wrong because of xg? Both those stats (pos. and xg) are usually less than useful which is why I said ARGUABLY and DIDN'T bring up pointless stats. If anything, getting a draw with a lower xg means you were efficient in front of goal. Overperforming your xg is a good thing. Bayern scored one really quality goal and a penalty and hit the woodwork one time. Arsenal scored two goals from open play so if that isn't ARGUABLY better, then you clearly know less about what that word means than I do. If you're a Bayern fan; learn to take a compliment.

Kieran comes across as a good guy. But his punditry is not good. I remember it took Nedum a little while to settle and open up before he started hitting his stride on the show. But Kieran has so far very much not impressed me as a pundit. It’s hard listening to him and his disjointed comments.

He will surprise you with his takes. I saw him in San Jose at a team panel when they were here for the MLS All Star, and that's just how he is. He doesn't jump in an engage, he often looks stoned, but he knows what he's talking about. I had the same exact feeling when I first started watching his punditry, but his takes will grow on you.
