If Adesanya takes the light heavy strap off of Perreira he'll be the biggest star in the UFC. If he throws on say 10lbs of muscle, he's actually got the size the defend the strap in two weight classes, because he only cuts 14-15 lbs now. Add some muscle weight and he's still not cuting a ton for middleweight, but has more power.

But he has a point especially since out of the 4 times they have fought, Israel has been the dominant fighter for most of the rounds. Literally in their second kickboxing fight, Alex was saved by the referee then he recovered and knocked out Israel with a perfect left hook. In that fight the referee stopped Israel from continuing his combos while Alex was on shaky legs and gave him a standing 8 count. In other fights Israel has been ahead as well so it makes sense why he would feel that way

I was at a local fight night in Auckland last weekend. Izzy and the ckb crew were a few tables over. The clowns at the table behind me yelled “chama” at the end of one of the fights and Izzy came over and just laid into them yelling at them to stfu or else. Poatan is living rent free in his head.

Never say never but don't be surprised if that 3rd fight never happens
