Schaub actually just has the worst takes in MMA. He honestly should just stop everything MMA related because it's getting crazy listening to him. You don't think Francis will do MMA. Well the only way he'll have a name is if he continues to win in boxing and if he doesn't then they're not going to pay him and Francis entire problem and reason he left UFC was because he wanted other fighters to get fair pay and benefits. Perry, salty much? Didn't he offer himself up to the UFC for 300 & get turned down? If they're so bad, why would he do that? Trashing the UFC is now the trendy thing to do, for attention.
ooor actually listen to the arguments the man is making... Everyone is looking to get paid and just boasting about being open to fight has value in itself for the sake of promoting your own brand... His point was that if UFC wants to market itself as an equal to these other mentioned organizations they have to "raise the bar" and give up some of the freedoms the UFC still keeps as an employer... otherwise its always gonna be viewed as Dana Whites dream league.
In other words just because UFC may stand to make more money if they make a less sensible fight from the perspective of rankings doesn't mean they od to have all the freedom to do so, IF they want to be viewed as NFL or NBA. It very often diminishes the value ranking has in people's eyes and that coupled with the fact its fighting really holds the sport back in a big way.
