The times need to change I'm in South Africa and I have to wake up at midnight to watch early prelims.
Yeah a lot of the prelims tend to start at 1:00am in the U.K.
Would be nice to have an event actually held here to be on at a half decent time.
As an American I wish fights started much sooner, maybe 2-4pm. The main doesn’t start until we’re too drunk to really know who won.

A 2:00 ET start time is 11:00 AM in Nevada. I believe the major obstacles they face is that a great deal of those NA and SA PPV buys would still be at work at, say 3:00 ET/8:00z for the Early Prelims. We're still working at Prelims start at 5:00 ET/10:00z. Work day usually ends around 6:00 ET/11:00z, just as the PPV card starts. I remember when I used to work 9-6 on Saturday, the UFC events in the UK or the UAE, I just counted those as a loss. Got home in time just to see the co and main events until I had the ability to watch on my phone.

In a fighter ranking system, a fighter shouldn't have the privilege of choosing their opponent. It should be determined by whoever is next in line. I'm frustrated with fighters, especially champions, dodging number one contenders and deserving challengers simply because they "don't want to fight them." It's absurd.
