@@BboyZoinksMore people need to understand that all these guys are just trying to make money at the end of the day. Most will fight anybody put in front of them to get that paycheck. Especially the ones that have kids to feed. For the most part its the matchmakers screwing around making fighters sit out, while they find the perfect matchups, not the fighters

Plenty of ppl were critical of the 300 lineup. It didn’t have many super star names. What it did have was top to bottom good fighters in fan friendly match ups which made it distinctly different from 100 and 200 imo

While they're at it, they should add a 225lbs cruiserweight division. Then have Jon Jones fight Miocic there. Imagine the performances we'd see out of former LHW fighters, when they don't have to kill themselves to make weight.

The media was talking about the fighters they were talking about Dana. Dana said the main event was going to blow our socks off. Then Dana just moves the main event from the UFC 301 card to 300. We knew we were going to watch Alex KO Hill in Brazil in front of Alex's home country. I'm sure Dana was working on a fight that was going to surprise us and just couldn't get it done. From the prelims to the main card UFC 300 is the fight card ever.

The weight classes should really be 125, 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, 195, 205, 225, 265. Lots of fighters are in between 155 and 170 and theres plenty of fighters who fught bith at MW and LHW. It opens up more interesting matches, especially for peoples who careers getting close to wrapped.
It seems that everytime I hear Daniel Cormier talk he is saying something stupid. OMG... "Super Lightweight Belt"... he wants to create a division that is 5 pounds lighter than Welterweight? WTF
That division would be for the smaller welterweights (the bigger WWs walk around at 200+ lbs) and larger lightweights. He's not the first one to suggest it, either.
WW and above are also separated by 15 lbs, while the smaller divisions are separated by 10 lbs.
But move welterweight to 175.

Making a 165 division and making the 170 division 175 would solve a lot of problems for sure. Guys like Chimaev who struggle to make 170 but are too small for 185 would be fine at 175, also 165 allows for the smaller welterweights to fights other guys their size.

Chandler seems the type of guy that has rehearsed his speeches. Many of those speeches have come to fruition and others came up short. This one in particular will definitely come up very short indeed. Conor is the one that jumped started the UFC into what it is to date. This is the third wave for Connor to catapult his legend into an immortality. Chandler is going up against destiny and the UFC. He is not a top tier fighter that can carry a card, yet or may never. He hasn't been champion but he is managing to pick up the crumbs of vanishing fighters. He has only managed to beat ferguson and Dan Hooker and loses include; Gaethje, Oliveira, Poirer, making him 1-3. But yet he manages to express himself with verbs, pronouns and adjectives of what he will do to Connor. What Chandler needs to realize is that Connors legend is waiting for him at the top and Chandler will fell to reach it for his last time. This is his biggest fight of his career, his last chance to be the striker and no longer the punching bag. :)
