There are chances of engine getting ceased if you do't put right fuel. Generally in USA there is a mix of 10% ethanol in petrol.
I believe the Fiat Mobi they are driving have Brazilian flex technology, so it can work with either or both gasoline and ethanol mixed. As long as they don't put something else like diesel in it, it should be fine.
