The RME Fireface UCX is an outstanding audio interface with extremely bright pre amps. And RME had that thing built to connect well with the Ipad since way back in 2012. It's a hell of a more expensive option though but it is such a good all around piece of gear with it's drivers and being a hybrid interface.

This helps me out a lot. most of my beats are from beat maker three. And Iâm glad I didnât by my interface yet cause I would of got the wrong one.

I just got me an iPad Pro 12.9 first gen. It runs IpadOS 14.4.2 It runs great. Now I know what to do to incorporate it in to my studio.

BTW thereâs always room for a new iPad. I like to use one as a stand alone recorder for a backup( in case I screw up and lose an idea) Maybe bounce tracks back and forth ,stacking them up like the old days with tape too. An extra camera is nice also. Iâm keeping my old one when I upgrade.

was looking for something simple but you sent me down a rabbit hole with the whole case compliant... i thinking i had audio receiver/amplifier was good enough and now spent the last hour trying to see if its case compliant which i still can't figure out if it is or not... but mostly i figure its not... since i bought the receiver/amplifier back in 2018. anyway... once i finally put that to rest and tried to follow along with your video... just got me even more confused... you repeat a lot of stuff over an over just hoping for you to make a point. then you continue on but i already forgot what u said at beginning.. yea completely newb here. lets just say.. im gonna keep looking for simpler explanation and demonstration. thanks anyway

I think its not working with the new ipad pro 2020. I have the Steinberg UR 44C interface and it needs usb C to power but al so usb C to get my interface started.

I am unable to connect any of this. I've tried 2 different powered hubs. One hub has 3 powered outlets for all -- the iPad, the interface and the keyboard. It still doesn't work. I am using the Focusrite solo interface. The interface DOES connect to the iPad when connected directly, but I can't use a keyboard that way. Any ideas? Are there iPad settings? My iPad is a newer one with the USB-C connector. Do I need a USB-C hub?

My issue with my Native gear is that only knobs and keys work in midi mode none of the buttons work like transport

You canât use Bluetooth speakers they are always gonna have a lag
Do you know if maschine micro will work with iPad?
