They were also the developers behind Aliens Extermination. AS A COUPLE OF TECHNICAL NOTES: For some reason, the capture only got one channel and at times I seem to stop playing because the game monitor didn't like something with the capture device and it kept going black. But the capture itself was fine, so that's a plus! #aliens #gameplay

I have a theory that Aliens Extermination is canon to Armageddon. It looks too obvious at the end of Extermination, but then again it could be one of those “The end?” moments.
Yes, the xenomorphs evolved for decades. Because the ending in Extermination, the ailens had access to Earth and destroy it.

Still think Aliens 3 The Gun and Space Gun are the best Science Fiction shooters still in the Arcade Genre. The one which impressed me the most in VR was playing Evangelion - Still waiting for US Arcades to get on Japan's Level!

Alien 3: The Gun for the arcade was also very good, along with the Aliens: Extermination arcade game for that matter also. But this one reigns supreme with that being said though!

Yeah, unfortunately it's fairly generic, although it is spiced with some interesting sound fx throughout - you just have to really pay attention. Still, that's an area that could've done much better.

Does anyone know why the Winged Xenomorph absolutely slaughtered the giant praetorian Xenomorph. It seems so out of behaviour. It's not like they're a different species and they must be from the same hive and same queen.
I get it's supposed to make the flying Xenomorph seem like the bigger and badder enemy but I was always confused about that as a kid.
From my understanding the bigger the xenomorph the more "alpha" it is. Thus the two giants are likely to vie for dominance especially if they think the other is attacking them, their team up being tense like two rival queens for example.
@@mickyflint I don’t think the big land one was a Queen but rather just a massive one and the flying queen wanted to secure the victory herself
@@scottpeltier3977 oh I wasn't saying they were queens. I was just using an example of two predators having a rivalry like the spinosuarus and trex from jurrasic Park (2?).

I dont really think there is any lore as to why the big xeno was attacked by the bigger winged xeno
Most likely ,the scene were the bigger winged xeno kills the big xeno is there for the player to say
"o shit ,we got a bigger problem now" and nothing more

That depends on the location and the game. Something like Aliens might go between 50¢-$1 depending on the venue; At my place, it's 75¢ to start a game, 50¢ for this particular game. A place like Dave & Busters would likely be charging a bit more.
I wonder if this game was inspired by Aliens: Earth War, where earth gets overrun by xenos.

I hate those pesky flying xeonomorphs
This game looks like a giant pain in the ass. Just a coin sinkhole. Constantly shooting the aliens from a distance and they still hit you more often than not. What’s the fun in that?
the most annoying thing about this game is that there are a lot of times where multiple aliens charge at you but only one of them will stay on you and attack you, and there's no hint at which one's going to attack you whatsoever, most of the times I get hit is when this happen, I was gunning down the wrong one and then it just fricking run off screen
the 2nd most annoying thing is that this game's reload takes time while your shots doesn't hinder the enemies, in other games, if you need to reload you either can take cover (time crisis) or you shots stop the enemy from attacking you (terminator salvation), and when your shots don't slow down the enemies, you have infinite ammo (let's go jungle, transformers human alliance, jurassic park 2015)
also him being bad at reloading and has slow reaction is why it looks a lot worse than it is, when I played this 2 years ago, yes, every problem I talked about still stand, but it's not as bad as this video made it look like
The highest score in my city is 80,000 I think I can get 90,000....my highscore atm is 60,000

the rifle are heavy even for 30yr old me. should make it lighter or like a sub. the developers they want to make money or not? make the gun lighter! and the reload under the handle? so hard to operate

This game is actually worse than Alien 3 The Gun from 1993. And this game was crazy and fun.
21 years later, Aliens Armageddon completely lacks in atmosphere and finese in comparison. Neither am i not "scared" one bit. The graphics are so poor, its hard to make stuff out. Who ever designed this game should never have another job in the gaming industry!

The guns are shit, it's cumbersome and the reloads are located in a shitty place
They should've made the gun more compact, similar to the series' famous m41a pulse rifle
