This "game" forces you to pay before a boss fight. Not because you fail, not because of any skill issue, just because. It's like a cheap mobile game that forces ads between stages, except the ad is extra money out of your wallet.

As a HUGE FAN of NBA JAM...this looks like trash. Animations are off. And looks kinda slow. Not a fan of this new "realistic" look. Give me the generic body with a bigger head.

Animations and the speed of the game feel off. Net physics seem stiff and the player models seem small and lowres. Looks like a mobile game sadly

So we finally have an NBA arcade game. Its been years since the last NBA arcade came out, which was Virtua NBA, an NBA arcade game produced by SEGA which is now extremely RARE and only found in the Asian market, which I somewhat recall one being at a Timezone arcade in Greenhills. This game feels close to what an NBA 2K arcade game would look like.

Take some of those built for home arcade units… $700. Upgrade monitor +800, upgrade cabinet +1000, upgrade controls +500, upgrade cpu/gpu/power +1000, upgrade marquee +1000, add margin +2000, add +2000 for commercial software/license (like where consumers pay $69), add $500 for distributor fees (no idea what this would be). $9500 + shipping. Seems like an under 10k arcade game could be possible. Which it sounds like there are some arcade games under $10k right? Where is the another 5k going? Designers? Licensing? Programmers? Other Expenses? More margin to stay profitable due to lower volume (ie console multi-platform can sell 5-10 million+ copies). How many units would a really good commercial/arcade/fec exclusive game at 15k sell in 2024? 100k? 500k? 1M? more?

Looks too slow. NBA jam on fire edition I gave on my arcade machine is graphically inferior, but play wise , looks like more fun and essentially has the same rosters.

This game lacks the charm in the "visual" department that NBA JAM has. It is so slow too, doesn't look like they are foot planting but floating too. It just looks like a crappy slow NBA simulator game with over the top jerky dunks.

I played Godzilla Kaiju Wars last week at Dave and Busters, and it was freakin’ awesome! I have to say this was a great improvement from King Kong, mostly because you’re playing with a light gun and you don’t have to worry about keeping your hands inside the grid. My only gripe so far with the game so far is that it’s too short. There’s more levels coming soon, but it feels like the first two levels out don’t last as long. My thoughts may change when the 3rd level comes out, but other than that, this game is great!

It actually looks like the animations play more like NBA Ballers than NBA Jam but NBA Ballers actually is a Midway Game so still same company that made NBA Jam and one of the creators of this game made the original NBA Jam. So this truly is an NBA Jam successor even if it doesn't play exactly like the original NBA Jam games.

The players movement and animation looks kinda stiff compared to NBA Jam OFE.

Wish I could say I enjoyed it. It was ok at best. Hope it’s not the last sports arcade game, because it’s been a long time that we got 1.

Clearly is not natively displaying low res, there are too many lines. It would have scanlines if it was showing it in actual 240p on that size screen.

I think this company forgets what makes arcades fun. It's the over the top, simple, crazy moments. They are trying to be too real, and would benefit from more cartoony graphics with more speed and fun and crazy animations to make it more over the top.

It's the exact same game, but with new content added to it. But the only differences I've noticed compared to the arcade were that for example, in the arcade, you have the ability to pick up one of the explosive wooden boxes and collect the Turtle Power at the same time, while in the console port you can't do that. Not to mention, they had all of the voice actors like Seth Green, Sean Astin, Rob Paulsen, Greg Cipes, and Kevin Michael Richardson re-record all of their lines that were used in the arcade when they were archived from the Portal Power game, and I'd have to say probably because of the new levels and bosses that were added to it, but who knows? Raw Thrills also didn't include the feature to enter in your name after each level like in the arcade, and once you reach Shredder's lair, they took out the boss rematch before the Shredder battle where now you only defeat a handful of foot soldiers and then you defeat Shredder and the new Super Shredder boss after that. There's a couple more I could probably add, but that's all I've really noticed. But I will say it's still the same game that I've enjoyed playing in the arcade and I believe Raw Thrills added the new levels and bosses to give players a similar experience to the classic TMNT arcade console ports as those included additional content, as well. It was longer to get through the whole game on the Switch, while in the arcade it was only about 45 minutes.

Game looks awful. Graphics are not appropriate for 2024. Animations are bad. Gameplay is much too slow. The Original NBA Jam was so full of Speed and Power and Energy. This one is lame. But thank you for posting the Gameplay.

At 15k, it means a lot of arcades can’t afford it. With no console port and too expensive for a lot of arcades = not a lot of people ever play this game = what is the point? I don’t have the answer, but that is a no win for me.
