- I made one for the first Battlefront from 2004, so it only made sense to make one for Battlefront 2! I played this with my original copy of BF2 on the new Xbox Series X. Hope you enjoy!

Man I used to love this game. I figured out how to connect my ps2 to the internet and I remember sniping people at their spawn points and just laughing my head off because I could imaging how frustrated they got. But this was a great game!

@@pajamaguru5315 haha I wouldn’t be able to tell you for sure! I only did it once or twice, but each time there were a lot of people playing! I usually played by myself against the bots.

I miss playing this on the PlayStation 2 and now they finally brought it back. I also never played the first Battlefront so now with this Classic Collection out I’ll have to try it as well. With Battlefront 2 I loved playing Conquest and Capture The Flag on them and 2-flag was not for the faint of heart because some maps were much harder than others with getting to the enemies’ locations for getting their flag.
This game was my childhood I will still play every now and then
This game had so many memorable maps and tons more playable characters. I don't know how they messed up the newer games. Oh yeah, more time spent on microtransactions than the game
I once created a full out war in one hallway on the Death Star. Neither me or the cpu could make it to the other side. It was absolute chaos with max reinforcements.
All the shit you can do in this game was simply amazing. There were so many fun interactive things like the rancor

This came out a year after I was born, I dont even remember playing it but the tantive IV map in this gives me so much nostalgia. It’s the only thing I can actually remember from this

Watching this after I heard news about the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.
In the death star level, at the entrance of the tunnel that leads to the detention cell, there is a weapons droid. I used to hide behind that droid and pelt thermal detonators at the seppies coming out of the tunnel. Each grenade would kill 3-4 of them, and since I was hiding behind the droid, my grenade stock kept recharging and I managed to kill atleast 50-60 seppies in 1 life.
That's scummy...
But probably EXTREMELY fun!

Would be really nice to learn how to install and run it properly on Windows 10. In my case, the game gets installed perfectly but when pressing the "Launch" button, it suddenly crashes... This is not where the fun begins :(

Idk why they changed the clones voices. The announcer sounds creepy in a way like he has a troubled past and his voice is way to deep. Morrison is and will always be the clones voice.
Fun fact- the Clone Announcer voice in BF2 is the person who voices "Sev" in Republic Commando. So maybe there was some deal struck where he was able to voice in multiple Star Wars games. Still, totally understandable if you prefer the OG voice haha.
Are you using a 4K upscale? Watching this in anticipation for the classics collection and they’re also supposed to be upscale. Hoping they look like this
I am not. I'm playing on a Series X with a Roku TV that doesn't provide 4K support.

One time on corascaunt I bodied 80 droids with mace windu And got the victory, I was the last one and said ima go all out 😂 dude the amount of stress and fatigue that set in was crazy after I won and killed all those freaking droids running around and jumping everywhere
I was on Polis Massa where I was the last reinforcement against 214 CIS troopers, multiple times had to make a command post at least neutral to avoid the timer starting (I had a few different times I had to get it to stop to keep the game going), and at the end of it I wound up winning by killing everybody.
Im so excited that ASPYR are bringing these classic SWBF games back 2 us after all these years. I cant remeber but can anyone tell me if the Infantry Soldiers in Classic SWBF 1@2 have a melee attack because i just cant remember at all.
They do not have a melee attack.

Since you played this on Series X, does the game ACTUALLY load faster compared to the OG Xbox version?
It's loads wayyyy faster in Series X Compared to the OG Xbox. I have like 2 seconds to read the Loading Screen Tips.

How was there an emperor you were able to fight!? I’ve never been able to fight an AI hero/villain on conquest mode
You can alter the settings before you launch the match. In the settings, you can choose to have heroes active, how many reinforcements you can have, etc.
the ps2 pc version didn’t have this feature only the xbox had npc heroes and villains
@@sporkhatsoda4532 yeah, that’s the system I had growing up. No wonder I was so surprised to see him fighting the Jedi/Sith😅
@@sporkhatsoda4532 Crazily enough the PC version doesn't have this either. You actually need a mod to have AI heroes in Instant Action on PC. Really weird choice in my opinion.

I had the xbox version and NEVER played this character.
Back in the OG Xbox Live days Ventress, along with Kit Fisto were added as DLC. If you have one of the newer Xboxes and have a copy of the game (either digital or physical), they already come available (as well as an extra map)!
Please recommend me which old star wars game should I buy on steam? Battlefront 2 2005 or Jedi academy? Which one is bettter?
I would say it depends on what interests you more. If you're really into lightsaber combat, go with Academy. Yes BF2 has lightsaber combat, but that's not the biggest focus of the game compared to Academy.
If you're looking for a fun shooter, then get BF 2. It has ground and space combat, and you can customize the settings of the matches too. There are a lot of game modes that can be played in BF 2 from Heroes Vs. Villains, to Capture the Flag, and Galactic Conquest.
Both games have a story mode and have a huge modding community.
If I had to pick only one, I'd personally go with BF2 but you could also wait for a Steam sale and get both! :)

Is this better than Battlefront 1 for PS2?
Given that it has more game modes and to an extent customizable matches, I'd say it's better in that regard. The only downside is that there are no flying vehicles on ground combat maps. But instead they have dedicated space maps. So I'd say it's worth it for all the improvements made.

You can't play online on a console. But you can do split-screen co-op.

Is this on easy mode or am I just that shitty of a player? Usually the enemy are headhunters.
So BF 2 has only two difficulties- Normal and Elite. I'm pretty sure for the purpose of the video I played on Normal!
Enemies (at least on pc) are usually either shitasses who cant kill me when im right infront of them (they have primary weapons as rifles and etc) or they are either aim bot marksmans who can headshot me when i jump as dark trooper, or they snipe me with damn rockets.
