Heroes vs Villains Classic Mode - Star Wars Battlefront 2 Classic

- Playing a bit of the old/classic Heroes vs Villains called Assault. I put up the number of kills a bit too high and its already been about 20minutes almost and didnt wanna go the extra 10 or 15 to finisht he game, but I'll try to do more of this from the other side and see how it goes, might do the final number 120 or so.

Imagine thinking about this at school all day on a friday and then finally getting home and playing until 3am until you literally crash to sleep...... good times

i brought this game and my ps2 where ever i went one time i went to a family members house a city away and brought this game and my ps2 with me (It was for the weekends) and those 2 days seemed like nothing but games chicken and blueberry pancakes.
I still play it every Friday.
Sounds like a sad life but ok.

One time an Anakin walked up to me saying "these enemies shouldn't present much of a problem" and a Han just came out of nowhere shouting "NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS!" and shot him in the face, it was perfect
The content of the old Battlefronts are amazing, they should be implemented in the new Battlefront II EA, imagine these content in the new graphics

This Battlefront had more content from the start than the latest one had a year after it was released. I miss the days when you got a full game when you bought it

I know right?? Give me him instead of Ki Adi or Aayla and then add Tarkin to the villains roster so that you have an equal number on each side. And might as well add Padme and Greedo, then you'd have 10 on each side with 6 lightsaber users and 4 blaster users.

In the campaign, Anikan was on the dark side killing Jedi. So he has to be in the villains side.
They needed more villains, it would be 10 heroes and 7 villains if he was a hero.
Fun fact, the AI wants the heroes to win and they usually do. Play for the villains for a real challenge.
Especially the Ps2 version, a bit unfair, but lot of fun.

I wish they would FULLY remaster the game with DICE's SWBF2 graphics
Darth maul had an extra attack swing animation if pressed at the right time, making it a four hit combo that one shots almost every hero👌🏻 when i found that out my brothers hated when i played maul against them:) ah good times

Man, being able to pay as Heroes/Villains was almost magical after playing the first Battlefront for so long. I remember telling my buddy about this mode on our walk to school. Good times!

when i used to play this as a kid i always played as the villians (I was fighting the AI btw) because the heroes always lost every single time they lost unless i was on their side. I also played the game mode where you have to work to become a hero or villian and you'd have to get kills to keep the hero or villian
That's the conquest mode, get some kills, be the hero

This was my most played game on the ps2 back then. I plan on buying this game when I see it for original xbox for my video game collection.
This game is still great to play to this day i love it so much. If you guys see this game in stock when your game hunting buy this game quickly dont pass it up. It not that rare but it's one of the uncommon games out there.

EA severely needs to make Battlefront 3. We still havent got one yet and they literally replicated and improved the 2005 BF2 in the 2017 BF2 after all the updates

Now, I have no nostalgic connection to this game whatsoever (I've only ever really played the Lego games back in the day) but judging by the gameplay, it looks miles better than EA's BF2 HVV and unlike that one, you can actually choose what team you want to play!

Also, you can cheat easily by just jumping on a high building and kill them from there, I alwayd did that. And sometines you can trap them, so that they move to kill you but run into a wall, and just keep running into the wall forever. There are manny funny bugs in this game.
My favorite to use was Mace Windu. I used to love the multi side flips he could do and also the ground pound.
On the dark side my favorite was Darth maul. His Saber throw was OP

I’m hoping we actually get Clone Wars Heroes alreadyin BF2(2017) Just because in my eyes neither Yoda or Darth Maul Are Clone Wars since Yoda is more well known for the original trilogy and Darth Maul was not around during the actual Clone Wars, with his organically legs at least. One thing i’m glad they decided to add to the new game is customization of heroes. That’s a big thumbs up for me.
yeah but the current ones are just ports from swbf2015. the leia boushh and lando skiff guard are the only new ones tbh maybe 1 han and 1 chewie are new. the rest are meh but im happy they are dropping content

Hold on. I just played this game and i didn't find this mode in the game. Is it because i'm looking in the wrong section or doing something wrong, or is this because this mode of Heroes vs Villains is a simpl mod created by someone? I need to know, cause it is boring to play as troopers or rebels.
Its called Assault. There are 2 different types of assault. But just read the description and it will tell you if its Heroes vs Villains or if its a space battle

Minor complaint is that I don’t like that anakin was in the villain’s side it always annoys me and I do get that this was released at the same time as revenge of the sith and they promote it anakin as one of the villains but he was a hero besides we had darth Vader (the same person) isn’t that enough

How do i win here? It's so hard to dodge and block the enemy attacks i always get entitled as a bantha fodder

it's for swbf2 2005, youll need that, and then you need to go to custom settings and select hvv.
