Some more handy tips for for drag tips these are on cheap plasma cutters are any drag tip You can use nozzle jelly from a welder to put on the tip of the flat part to help keep slag from building up there. I even use it for plunge cutting with a drag tip which usually throws a lot of slag on the tip I'll take a wire brush and scrape it right off and then I dab it back again and my nozzle Jelly. It is aggravating I'm not gonna lie but if you need your tip the stay as clean as possible this is a very good Solution

That 225 is awesome for what you pay for it. I have already repaired my brother's pontoon boat outboard mount that was damaged in an auto accident. Welds AL like a dream. The gas bottle was pricey but once you buy one, it is an easy refill at your local supplier. Cost me $70 or so to fill it. Not a really big bottle 80 cu/ft.

It's not good to use metal as a template to use as a plasma cut and guide I've seen Someone on CZcams use a Wooden clipboard.
You can use whole sauce multi tools to make templates out of clipboards and I've been using it it's really tricky to get used to but in the end of the day it's easier to buy another clipboard than to buy some good metal to waste making a template for plasma Cutting. If you cannot start on the edge of material to get the plasma flowing you can always Drill a pilot hole to give the plasma a place to go That's the reason your plasma tip's looks so ugly the plasma is being thrown back at it before it makes the hole and Burns through.
Use this information if you Want to I know it's helped me out in plasma cutting
