Hi - now there is 'shared channels' does this change your approach or is it still a workspace for each client?
Hi. No change. I still want a dedicated Workspace for each client so I have the flexibility of being able to set up many channels to keep the communications organized.
I LOVE this... thank you so much! I already love Slack but don't use it like this... I'm going to go all in implementing this for my clients.
Awesome! I am so glad this helped! It has completely changed the way we run our consulting division here at Nerd Enterprises, Inc.
@@nerdenterprises Are your internal communications about a client account also in their specific company slack workspace (maybe on a private channel) - or are they on your OWN slack workspace? (with a channel for each company?)
@@cindydiller1265 We do have a channel for each client in our own workspace, but in reality a lot of our client specific communications are done in DM's in the client workspace.
@@nerdenterprises Very helpful. I have a dumpster rental trucking job as broker. Should I make a channel for each new renter? Then, invite client(the renter of the bin) via guest mode, then invite the dispatch office to the same one for customer service as it's a 7 day rental. Thank you!
(I am the one who charged the renter for the bin, as a markup. Can i get paid in slack too?)
Dispatch office is dependent on the one who is fulfilling the job and would use a free account. Basic.
Unless I'm mistaken, you have to configure the settings for each Workspace that you create (for each client) - there is no way to export core/common settings and channels that you know will be required, and then import those to new Workspaces?
Hi Keith. I don't build out all of the channels for each client right away. I start with what I know I need to start with. Then I add what I need as I go. Oftentimes the first thing we're talking about is banking and bank feeds so I start with that, and maybe a handful of others.
Sir please...reply me
How to post a pic with a keyword in slack?
I don't follow? A pic with a keyword? You can drag and drop a photo to add one. What do you mean about the keyword part? what are you trying to do?
@@nerdenterprises My prof told me to add a pic with a keyword so that it will be easy to search..
So in the same post with the photo type the keyword you would want to search it by.
why wouldn't i use WhatsApp? on desktop
Not nearly as flexible in terms of how you can organize channels in Slack to keep conversations organized. To accomplish this in Whatsapp you would need to create many different, disconnected conversations. There are many features in Slack that you just don't have access to in Whatsapp.
