So, the song is about friendship. Obviously. This song isn't about anypony specific, but it's sort of a future situation between the good friends that the Mane 6 are. It's a sad song, but happy at the same time. The message is this: life has its problems, but friendships are worth saving. :3

It's remarkable how this song written early in the show's run has become so relevant now. I find this song a lot more beautiful, sad, and nostalgic and more fitting to the finale than "The Magic of Friendship Grows". Thank you so much Aviators and Happy 10th MLP anniversary!!

There are so many haters and non-bronies who make fun of us for liking a show made for six year old's. I, and many others, am proud to be a Brony (Pegasister). I feel like this song represents not just MLP: FiM but this whole fandom. Everyone in this fandom makes me feel happy and regular. Everyone always tells me "Do you ever talk about anything except ponies?". I actually really don't.

I remember listening to this about a year ago, thinking "Oh hey, this song sounds good." I didn't think much of it and went onto the next song. Many friendship problems later, I come back here and I appreciate this song MUCH more than I did before. Each lyric makes me cry a little because I can relate to all of it. Sometimes it takes the hard way to truly appreciate a well made song.

Has anyone noticed that brony music is much better than the crap that big publishers and artist make every year?
Like Stereotypical lose of love ones or angry bouts between artists. Their life about getting drunk and other crap.
Yet here is just a simple song about friendship, this is one of the reasons I joined this fandom, because of artist like Aviators and more.

Dragon Arguably, fan projects such as this often are better than what is constantly spewed out by society today. If you compare video game music, especially remixes, for example, with stuff that came out a mere five years ago, there seems to be a pattern emerging: these under-appreciated, independent works are more beautiful and satisfying than what we consider "music" today.
Jarvy Jared yeah, well it's like comparing this to niki minaj's song called Stupid hoe which makes this song amazing compared to what she makes especially the Anaconda song.
A lot of brony songs are highly planned and sophisticated. They think rather than just do.

Everything would be so peaceful. Living in harmony.
But the World had to be cruel for us to learn how Life really works.
I'd prefer myself to live in a better world, so many people argue opinions when their is really no proper right or wrong. Its even got to a point where there is a "report as hating function on CZcams Comments" when you report as spam, unfortunately i have to use that a lot to shut down arguments that are going nowhere and spamming up the chat.
***** Yeah that is the way they need to stop, but that would stop all arguments because a disagreement forms from to opposing point of views, and peoples wanting to defend them. To bad people don't notice that violence will not save their argument, there needs to be more people who can argue opinions peacefully in this world even that will massively improve the world we live in.
***** Almost any sorts of arguments, they continue to anger the one who stir them until either a agreement is reached or until there is now other points for the arguer's to fall back on, then either overused insults are used, people repeat themselves, or someone gets hurt physically or emotionally. Anyway since its about 12:30 AM I'll get some sleep, its nice to talk to people without the topic being to stop an argument as kindly and calmly as possible

Wow, a whole 8 years ago I listened to this song. Sure the MLP wasn't perfect it had the same flaws any big fandom had, but unlike most fandoms, it's the main goal was spreading friendship and happiness. That one of the reasons I can look back and say I'm proud to be a part of this fandom.
Even though generation four had ended I have hopes for generation 5.
And, for those who still want more official stories for generation four, the comics are still going into season 10. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't know MLP: FiM had comics, they were advertised as much, they also have more content due to not needing to keep their message in a 23 or so minute timeframe.

i genuinely liked mlp before even knowing a fandom had arisen but was super happy to find there was a community for people that shared a similar interest as me and experienced so many incredible things including the music and now im rediscovering the all the songs, for me its the first time im hearing this

Even if I've mostly moved from ponies, it still amazes me to this day how good music the fandom made/makes. This track is a masterpiece, no matter how many times I've heard it.
That song hits hard. Used to have a best friend, we were both bronies(well, pegasisters), and knew each other from the age of 6. During highschool, we were both really fangirling about this fandom and it's creative content. We used to sing along together in the bus many of the brony and MLP OG songs. It was a blast. Once highschool finally ended, our path splitted and for some reason she started to despise my existence (around the time MLP G4 ended). Today, I am listening to this song and my heart breaks because of how strong the lyrics hit me in the chest and the irony of having a brony song singing the sad melody, after the fandom crumbled down.

Its pretty hard to get me to feel, but holy shit did this song hit home, I remember when I had friends, all but one are gone now. When a person completely unrelated to you genuinely cares about you is a god damn magical thing and its amazing to me how so many people throw it away.

I just came back to Glaze and mapped Heartmender on osu and now i come back to all the brony songs i used to listen to years and years ago, some i would listen to on repeat while mowing my lawn or playing video games. Personnaly, I discovered this song (and aviators) while reading a "anon-a-miss " fanfiction, more precisely the sad ending version (I can't remember the title), where sunset and twilight sing together and now, I can't help but cry whenever I listen to it.

Hmm. This song really reminds me of a friendship I ended a few months ago. We were best friends for years, but we eventually began to hate each other and just started acting really badly towards each other. Being a brony, I check out a lot of music, and this keeps me coming back over and over, because it is just an amazing song. I listen to the remix on Spotify all the time, but the remix isn't all that different. It just is faster paced, which I think helps the tune.

It sucks. I love no fandom more than the Brony-Fandom, and since i'm part of it, the word "friendship" has a new, even more important meaning to me. But now, two of my best friends became friends with a person that couldn't be more unsympathetic to me. We had an argument, and those two friends went on her side. I still got friends from who i know that they'll never abandon me, but now, after I tried to be a good friend and I've learned so much about friendsip, I'm getting blamed for everything bad that happens, the fight, if a make a mistake, everything. 2019 and I'm crying...
this is EXACTLY what a friendship i went through was like and this song was the final push to reach out to him. Thank you so much for making it!
This music reminds me when I was desperate for a relationship so I followed some crushes like a lost puppy. Most of them broke my heart in the end because I was a fool to think they we were meant to be close friends. I also lost most friends when I was at iBrony except for one guy who's still friends with me and that's a wonderful blessing I have. And when I mean crushes, I mean crushes who were bronies online. After many rejections, I couldn't handle another guy so I claimed that I'm lesbian. Turns out I was wrong, I gave one guy a chance who's actually a femboy. So it worked out for both of us as she knew what my pain is. But turned out to be a liar. So now, I've been hurt along with some ex friends and a current ex girlfriend who cheated on me on the side.
Found someone way better though. We have ups and downs, but she's a good listener and been there for me on my bad days! :)
