Thanks to God and this channel.
Your videos about the F1 visa process really helped me during my interview.
To be specific, the five great advises (including, letting go of fear, despite other applicants acceptances and rejections) that you mentioned really built my confidence at the embassy.
This was exactly what happened during my interview.
There was this tall male consular that denied applicants of visas.
** Always have in mind that your case is different from others.
Not because others got denied, so you should defeat yourself before your interview.
So, I was number three in the queue, which indicated that two persons were in front of me.
So, the security asked one person to step up front to be interviewed by that very consular but they both got scared and decided not to go up front.
Me being number three, I stepped forth with FAITH and with a MINDSET that the consular is only there to do his job and that my case is different from those that got rejected.
When I got there, I greeted the consular and then he asked me for my documents ( I-20, sevis fees payment etcetera), I gave it to him in a short time cause my documents were properly arranged.
He asked for my letter of acceptance, my sevis fees receipt, I-20 and a proof that I have a scholarship, plus my passport and an American sized passport photo and DS-160 but he didn't give it back to me.
He quickly reviewed it and asked for my transcript.
I gave it to him also and he reviewed it and gave me back my transcript, ONLY.
After that, he told me that, under the law of 221g, my VISA has been placed on administrative processing because he needed to make some inquiries from my school that I got accepted into and some other things.
He then gave me a 221g white slip with administrative processing, being circled.
I thanked him and then walked out.
** WITH ALL THIS, I WENT HOME AND PRAYED AND FASTED ABOUT IT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS.
My Interview was the 12 of June and my VISA got approved by the 16 of June.
I got to know because I checked my VISA progress on the CEAC PORTAL, using my DS-160 confirmation number.
After eleven working days, counting from the 16 of June, I finally received a communication from the embassy through an E-mail that my VISA is ready for pickup on the 6 of July, 2023
Hopefully, I got my VISA on the 6 of July, 2023 and I am so much grateful to God and this channel.
So grateful to this channel. 🙏

My interview is on the 11th July. I am going to Georgia state university for an Associate degree in social work but on my I-20 it’s written as liberal arts and science. Georgia state has colleges and I will be attending one for my pathway program then transition to their university campus to obtain my bachelors. How best can I explain this or should I just say I’m going for my associates degree then explain what I just said?
