Looking forward to the dogfighter build. I had the original and won a lot of club races with it. I remember it had ball diffs and a one way roller bearing on the center shaft that made the car turn well on carpet. Ran full 4wd on carpet and dirt

Ive got a silver chassis factory team rtr with shocks from the last losi 22 sct truck, a little scared to push it and break an arm but if i go to the track i still bring it. I dont even play with the rcs or race much anymore but ill probably keep it forever just because i wanted o e so bad as a 12 year old in 97
So cool, brings back memories. My friends used to work at a hobby shop and the had an oval pan car carpet track and the center would become addition track with jumps, we had these rc10t trucks and we used to race them, and were very popular. We started our own class and lowered them and put on street tires but same wheels, some wheels were 5 spoke with wild color. The low trucks became popular as well. I began to work at the hobby shop and worked for parts. Lol. The owner was so nice he used to let us stay there all night and race our trucks. We also used to sleep on the track. I miss those days. I wish I still had it.

Hi Gavin, I actually just received the body for my RC10T from TBG. The lines for doors are good but the front grille and headlights is a little wobbly.. shape and sharpness of the rear suspension covers is pretty good.

I remember the time we raced our rc10t, that was the time of nicad batteries and you had to have your gearing just right so you can get you max speed but be able to finish the race as well. We timed it so perfect that when we crossed the finish line our trucks would dump right after that, about half lap and the battery would be dead. Because of matched cells, when nickle metal came out it was awesome. Much longer run times.

Yep, 2-2.5 years of vintage boom time for sure. Better late than never I guess.
Got my yokomo on order at amain so will be interesting to see when the next batch arrives here in USA
I fitted a B4 slipper and top shaft into my B3 which is a direct fit, I think the transmission is the same but the ratio may be different because its a truck. JC racing are producing a direct fit box which allow the use to the newest B7 internals.
OrginalcRC10T are great to drive, I'd say better than the original/Team car spec RC10's.
I had an Associated Stadium Truck and two gold pan buggies back in the day, wish i still had them.
Watching your vid kick started me to want another stadium truck, will go searching for one soon.

Wow lots of new things coming up on the show. You're going to need to reinforce the proline body with drywall tape and silicone, silicone is the same as shoe goo but cheaper. Before applying the silicone, put the tube in some hot water to make it even easier to apply and spread over the drywall tape.

They bring back 6010/6016 or even 6035 i am in. I never in all of the 1s i had in the past had a chance to open the box and build it. Always 2nd/3rd hand. -U10

The Alloy-Chassis from the RC10T2 is very nice! I'm happy to have a RC10T2 😉 I think Associated will not bring the Stealth/Worlds Chassis. There were only few cars and a production will be expensive. I just startet my RC10 GX Project and the roller will be more expensive thann two b7...🤪 Keep on Racing 🐄💨

Congrats on getting your T2!! I've still got my RC10T bought used in 1994. It's a full RPM Ultramolded chassis conversion and still runs occasionally though more shelf queen as nearly impossible to get parts. 😀👍

Hello Gavin, I am very surprised that Team Associated has not re-released an RC10t truck. Trucks are very popular right now. This just seems like the best thing to do. Thoughts?
We can only hope. It’s not a massive amount of work to release an RC10T rere so from a sales point of view it makes total sense. Dropping the Gold Pan in the next few months quickly followed 3-4 months later by the T would give them maximum unit sales. 🤔 Team Associated are about to make a truck load of money if it plays its cards right.
@@RCKickschannel Hello Gavin, I hope that Team Associated does re-release the RC10t truck. I can not figure why they have not done it already. I am sure that you already know this, but Team Associated was an American company, but was sold to Thunder Tiger. I wonder who owns it now? What will they do next? My guess is they will sell what ever they can to make money. Nothing wrong with that. That is just my guess. Thoughts?

Regarding RC10 specials, well the Halsey car was a standard RC10 which had the chassis sides and motor mount cut down, with Tamiya rear tyres and front wheels with Proline front tyres. A rerelease version would likely to differ from a standard 6 gear only by a different sticker sheet. The 89 and 91 cars are never going to be released as they were one offs with the only connection to the production cars was that they had a stealth gearbox internals in them. They were built specifically to suit the track conditions at those events.
Replicas of the 89 and 91 chassis is already available as the P3D RC10GX and the NIX91 cars
Looking forward to your build video(s) of the DogFighter a lot and also to what you will modify to make it suitable for racing (2.2" rims?)! I hope you'll have fun building it.

There's been a ton of speculation about TA rereleases, I hope it's all true.
You'll need to check if the internals from the Fan RC stealth repro will fit in the T2 case. The stealth had 2.25:1 and the T2 had 2.60:1 ratio from memory. Maybe the top shaft and slipper will work.
Also the picture of a '85 JH IFMAR car you showed was a hypothetical concept of JH's car crossed with a '91 stealth car done by Michael Vollmer. JH's car was much closer to stock.
Still looking forward on how you "treat" your collectibles. I also like your dabbing into modern RCs [especially from PR Racing] as I like to go "not" with the norm brands. Thanks.
PR Racing buggy will be back on the show as I have finished the build but need to get some race footage. I fitted some electronics in it but unfortunately these are giving me issues, so I need to swap them out so I can get some track footage and finish the video.

I dont love the rc10 clear, i dont hate it either. Its funky, and hopefully i get the second batch 🤞 my yokomo should be here this week and will be on track next weekend, 10.5 going in 👍 so i’ll let you know if the trans holds up, cant see why it wouldnt 🤔 the gold pan had to happen, but 6gear 1st please. Then the grid wont be full of jj ultimas 😂

The T2 chassis has s chamfered underside because it stiffens it longitudinally. It flexes a lot less than the gold tub.
Don't get the FanRC gearbox, the gear ratio is wrong for a truck. If you want to change the slipper pad to a modern type just replace the spur gear.

People need to understand Thunder Tiger owns AE and Thunder Tiger is a garbage company. AE simply doesn't have the staff or resources that Horizon Hobby provides to Losi and TLR. We may be asking too much of AE. They can only work so fast and with the rollout of the RB7, I can't see them knocking out the wishlist of vintage kits mentioned. We would hope so, but more of a pipe dream then reality. We should give thanks that these companies are even in business and have the opportunity to purchase the CC.
They seem to release new products quite frequently though like that new Pro 2 truck looks really good.
@@Heathcliff_hensel the RTR items are rebranded TT products sold under the AE brand. Just because it says AE that doesn’t mean it is.
Thunder Tiger could commission a factory to churn out vintage kits by the thousands in no time at all, Its what the Chinese are good at. Little resources required from AE apart from some reference as to what they want.
Looks like you have turned into a purely buggy channel ? Too much and too many ! Don’t alienate your other watches who don’t really get spending £400 on a 30 year old piece of rc design !
