Jack Jones explains his relationship to John Farnham and being asked to perform with him on John's 50th Birthday tour in 1999. Regrettably, Jack declined.
In Adelaide as part of Southern Sons tour, Jack Jones performed an impromptu version of John Farnham's 1990 hit 'Burn For You' as part of the encore. The song 'Burn For You' is co-written by Phil Buckle formerly of Southern Sons.

Class act Jack. My biggest regret involves John as well. Met him in 2000 and forget to get a picture. We were just shooting the breeze like the normal guy that he is and completely forgot.

Have always liked Jack Jones, he does sound like John Farnham in many songs but that's a compliment and he should feel good to be compared to John.
