would you recommend spending on one of the local camp sites? Also did you stay for the three days, during the festival ?

To be honest we were doing a road trip in Spain. We partied most of the nght before the actual wine fight and we just slept in the car. Which i don't recomend doing that with a full car :) Not the most comfortable nights sleep. We woke up early in the morning in Haro and followed the crowed to the mountain.

is it drinkable wine ?

舉動現代的 yeah you can drink it but it doesn't taste that great... it's all the bad batch so they just throw it away and use it for the festival... :)

I wouldn’t drink it. Whilst the wine is probably mostly okay, some of the containers people bring it in would not have passed a sniff test before the wine was put in.
Pro tip: take your own wine, we never managed to and we scrounged off others but not everyone is too happy to share their wine!
