Loved this video, it was so relaxing to watch. The noise of rain on a tent or tarp is a lovely sound, especially when you're all warm and dry inside. Your dinner looked delicious, I'm definitely going to make that for myself soon. 😊
If you get some cotton wool and a tub of Vaseline (petroleum jelly) rub the Vaseline into the cotton wool until the wool is completely covered right through then can squash loads of these into a small tin or Tupperware container. These will light your fire really well even if your firebox is wet.
I came to this a little late but my goodness, the beautiful cinematic opening and the lovely photography. It looked freezing! You suffer for your art. Have you tried Hochstadters Slow and Low Orange Honey Rye Whiskey? Warming!
Lovely tarp camp Amber the sound of the rain is a bonus you can always count on that in snowdon as I've done 3 camps in last couple of months. Keep the vids rolling. Fab.

What is that stove you’re using? (and it looks like you have carried some sticks of firewood?) I was going to ask you in a previous comment how come I never see campfires on UK backpacking videos? I presume partly because there is a scarcity of firewood, but wonder if there are laws against having campfires?
Lovely video but next time why don't you not bother going home for a shower and just head straight to work from a night's wild camping and that way you can film a more complete video? OK so once you are at your work you are going to hum and the boss is probably going to call you into his office and with a handkerchief covering his mouth start the conversation or disciplinary hearing with words to the effect of "Amber dear.....there have been complaints." At the end of the day your CZcams viewers are going to get to see you getting up in the morning and we are kind of all that matters really and way more important than your workmates. Sorted.
