Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me .
I will leave this pinned message here to REMIND everyone that i do not have TELEGRAM and there is no GIVEAWAY. Those you see are bot scams . Keep yourself safe and know that I would not ask for your info. ❤ ❤
When they came to play in Brazil, and discovered that there would be a VIP space in front of the stage, they asked for 500 tickets to distribute to those who didn't have money to buy tickets and gave them to the MST (Ong of people without a land)
It's around 30 years old. This band will never let you down. Bulls on Parade and Down Rodeo (lyrics video) are two great choices.
Down Rodeo was phew... A gut check
How good is Evil Empire!! That album is a masterpiece!
@@joshuapearce1442 It's good, but not as good as their first album. The only track that can rival the level of their first album is Bulls On Parade.
Rage on BEHALF of the machine, youz a bunch of literal clowns
@@dangerousdiscourse shall wear my clowness like a badge of honor. High fives
For RATM you really have to look at the lyrics. Zach spits bars. This one was a reaction to Rodney King and the LA riots. Calling out racism in the police force. These guys go deep. And yes, the music kicks ass.
Yup, they are like children who have discovered "Muh first politics for beginners"...some of the dumbest idiots. This is one of their few songs and political 'messages' that hit a truth without being too full-on cringe and wrong in other ways like they usually are, sort of like a broken clock does by mistake twice a day. Basically because "hey guys, racism bad" is such a complex, intelligent realisation...🙄
Actually you're wrong as this clearly isn't all about L.A. riots, as "F you I won't do what you tell me" is just cheap childish anti-parents tantrum messaging which SELLS well. Definitely has nothing to do with the L.A. Riots, just something that children want to hear. Probably some of the record company executives came up with that part of the lyrics to sell more records...and they cleaned up all the "too edgy" messaging too.
But their music sounds great.
It always disappoints me when people react to RATM and barely scratch the lyrics.
@@Seyanoo exactly
She completely missed what made this band ground breaking. Some of the powers that be and mainstreeam society was deeply worried about Rage. They thought it was a revolution brewing, a real one. And maybe it was.
@@dfiler2Agreed! It definitely lit a fire in my generation that is not going to burn out. I think it will be important when us old lions take a front line charge in any operation...foreign or domestic.
That entire album is awesome!
'Bombtrack'
'Take the power back'
'Bullet in the head'
'Know your enemy'
All highly recommended!
Renegades of Funk, Freedom, Down Rodeo, and Ghost of Tom Joad, People Of The Sun. So many good songs.
This album is all killers no fillers.
Settle for nothing, Darkness of greed too
Take The Power Back is just... uggh. so good.
Fun Fact...The guitar solo you enjoyed in the song "Like a Stone" by Audioslave is played by the same guitarist for this band. Tom Morello. He's a very interesting artist.
Amazing ❤️
@@BisscuteReacts Auidoslave is Rage Against the Machine. Just different vocalist.
The "what's happening" moment was such a pure and appropriate reaction to what was happening. Thanks for that. Very real.
This song is far far far more important now than when it was released!
Indeed
You’re right america and the police are quite a bit more racist than when this was released…..this song. Has nothing to do with you my friend it’s just about racism
@@mookiestewart3776 lol we’re so racist Asians are the most successful race in the country per capita 😂
But sadly Rage Against the Machine has completely abandoned this message and have sided with the machine.
The band broke up because Zach did not like the direction the band was going- what tee shirts was going to look like, selling out for commercial gain while the initial core of the band and its purpose, messages was being cast aside. I still love RATM. I was very disappointed when I tried to buy a ticket it was near end of the pandemic and a price for a regular ticket was near $600 bucks. That's when a band has lost touch with what got them there
This band matters. Honest art with meaning and done with both talent and passion.
Great comment !
Haha, another "my first rebel feelings" child...
These guys are totally brainless douchebags. Good music though.
you just reacted to Audioslave, the same guitarist Tom Morello
6:50 “What’s happened? What happened?” A big part of punk and metal shows at smaller venues where fans can actually reach and get onto the stage is something called stage diving. You get up on the stage, maybe rock out for a second before you jump, and then you dive into the crowd. Or rather, onto the crowd, and immediately begin crowd surfing. This used to happen all the time at smaller shows for all kinds of punk and metal bands. It was just an accepted and expected thing to happen. At this point in the video where you’re asking what happened, it seems as though people had started stage diving and one of the security guards doesn’t seem to understand that this is actually a thing, and he’s somewhat violently trying to stop a fan from doing this, and this makes the singer get upset and he starts yelling at the security guy to knock it off because there’s nothing wrong with fans doing this. The security guy didn’t seem to know about people doing this and he overreacted, and his overreaction pissed the singer off because it is just people trying to have fun. Nothing wrong was going on. Everything was fine. The guard was probably used to working shows with other kinds of music where the artists wouldn’t want some fan rushing the stage, and this was probably his normal reaction at non-punk and non-metal shows. Except here the reaction was unnecessary and he was unaware.
This was the Perfect First Song for RATM. This song was a Protest song about the treatment of black people by police in the US. "Some of those that were forces' (police) 'Are the same that bore crosses' Ku Kux Klan (white terrorist organization - their symbol was burning crosses in the yards of black people to scare them from living in 'White' communities) 'They justified those that died by wearing the Badge of Your chosen White'. Saying they used their power to put down and sometimes kill people of a different color. This was a Very Serious song. Interestingly, it got popular and a lot of white racists listen to this song to this day, and don't understand that the lyrics are written about them. Great Song and Great Reaction Biss!!
You chose one of the best bands of the 90s...you HAVE TO listen to "bulls on parade", "wake up", "bullet in the head", "sleep now in the fire", "guerilla radio", "take the power back", "testify" and many many more...this band is a revolution ;)
Thanks for the suggestions ❤️
Yep, they're some of the dumbest, brainless idiots in the world...but their music is great.
Those are top-notch suggestions.
There are some bands that you remember where you were the first time you heard time. For me, it was in Dec. 1992 at the Whisky a Go Go. This band none of us had ever heard of came on stage and instantly stole the show. We all bought their cassette tape and couldn't stop listening to it for months. Here we are 30yrs later and I still listen to their albums every few weeks.
Nice story
The loudest concert I've ever seen. 98' 25 years ago its wild to think.
Most Rage songs condemn oppression and injustice.
This songs condemns white supremacy and police brutality in the US.
The lyrics were "Some of those who work (police) forces are the same who burn crosses" and "Those who died are justified by wearing a badge (police) they're the chosen whites".
You should watch their live 1993 performance of this song. They absolutely KILL it in their live 1993 performance of this song.
Other Rage songs that you MUST hear that also have an important message:
- "Know Your Enemy" WITH lyrics (need the lyrics for that one)
- "The Ghost of Tom Joad" WITH lyrics (need the lyrics for that one too)
- "Bulls on Parade" (quite possibly their most famous song of all time)
I see, thanks ❤️
Chris Cornell from sound garden took over as the lead singer ,and they changed their name to Audioslave
This is the most insane show I've ever been to absolute MAD HOUSE left on a stretcher not playing
Lead guitarist of this band, Tom Morello, is also the lead guitarist of Audioslave, Chris Cornell's second band after Soundgarden.
I just signed up for Patreon for both of your channels and when I saw you were doing this song I got so excited. Cannot wait to see this reaction. HYPE!!
Thank you so much
Bulls on Parade was the song that got me into the band. This song Killing in The Name of was at the end credits of the movie The Matrix. When this band broke up. Tom Morello and the band became Audioslave. Tom Morello grew up in Libertyville Illinois. I grew up near Tom. I seen Audioslave at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago in 2003. Tom mother came on stage saying this is the greatest f*ing band in the world. I love Soundgarden, Audioslave and Rage Against The Machine. I’m friends with Vicky Psarakis which she did an amazing cover of Be Yourself and Show Me How To Live. Check her music out.
Rap Rock .. an originator .. love RATM .. love the guitar/guitarist Tom Morello .. the song came out in 1991/92
These guys were once performing this *live* in the UK for a TV channel and they told them not to swear.
They went and screamed "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" while flipping off the camera and the channel had to quickly cut the performance in the middle.
I recently learnt this on guitar (drop D tuned) and its pretty fun to play. I think you'll be able to do it on stream too.
I just saw that video and it’s hilarious how flustered the presenter was that apologised after cutting them off
Unlike when they were on Channel 4's late night The Word, who were more than happy to let them loose. Zak just disappeared into the crowd at the end of the song. Fantastic performance.
Run-DMC collaborated with Aerosmith on a version of Walk this Way in the '80s - and the rest is history, I guess...
The band is called "Rrrrrrrrlage Against the Machine". Love the Romanian rolling of the R's! : )
I have watched millions upon millions of different reactors, and you by far have the best stank face when reacting to music.
Your, misunderstanding of this is really beautiful! ❤
I really like your interest and energy!
Your perspective let's me experience in a new way.
Love it! ❤
"Now you do what told you (now you're under control)"
Love it!❤
Love your energy!
You really roll your tongue well.
You're so smart and intuitive.
You rock! Yeah!
The original lyrics where supposed to be "Some of those that hold office, are the same that burn crosses" the music label made them change it.
Fun fact: this song was the UK music chart Christmas No. 1 in 2009 (17 years after it came out) because of a viral Facebook campaign made to finally stop the winner of the X Factor TV talent show from getting No. 1 every year.
This band is a rabbit hole with no bottom. Insane amount of talent and relevence, especially today. They were WAY ahead of their time. My faves - know your enemy/take the power back (they just show the talent of every member so well.) Those guys were incredible with Chris Cornell as the lead in Audislave. Enjoy!!!
You are right he’s definitely rapping. The band grew up liking punk rock and rap and merged the two.
BTW their guitarist is Tom Morello, who is also the guitarist for Audioslave who you just discovered.
Rage's lead guitarist and Tool's Adam Jones were buds in high school, and the bands did a few gigs together in the early 90's.
Oh? interesting ❤
Rage Against the Machine spoke about real shit in their music. Love you, @Bisscute. Thanks for keeping it metal. 🤘🤘 You picked the right one. You're referring to stage diving and crowd surfing.
The video is about 25+ years old. Never got into this band so all I know is the guitarist is Tom Morello who is also the guitarist for Audioslave.
You're right Zach is a rapper/singer this is a fusion of rock and rap style this was very popular in the 90's
I like it❤️
This is what I was telling you about Tom Morello using the Whammy Pedal to get that squeeling sound (pitch shifting the notes). And you mean stage diving. Enjoying your content.
Is incredible to see Rage Again the Machine an see their are the base of AUDIOSLAVE (bass, guitar, drums)... only change the voice of Zack del la Rocha for Chris Cornell... two very different style of rock... true musicians.
Still listening to RATM after 30 years. I was near 30 yrs when they first arrived...so yes, the math says I'm 60 yrs.
They always sound like a fusion of funk and hard rock to me.
I feel Rage Against the Machine are more important now than ever before. They should be "required listening" for the world today. They reunited in 2019!
Glad you liked this ❤
Rage against the machine is one of my favourite bands of the early Nineties and when this album came out I was totally blown away by it. And every time I listen to it nowadays I am still so grateful "I was there" when RATM, Pearl Jam. Nirvana, Alice in chains, Soundsgarden were dominating the music scene.... And is great to see you feel it too! Thank you. ~ Vals
EDIT: it is called stage diving and there is always a risk for some serious injuries but the thrill is awesome! I also think "Killing in the name" of is the one song you should react to as it was their breakthrough song in 1992
Abd when it required TALENT to sell CD's, not just be famous kn TikTok to get discovered and have "14m5 minutes of fame". The 90's were a GREAT decade to grow up in, I was 12 in February of 1990 and git to experience all this amazing music through the decade 👏 😀
I clicked right on this when I saw you reacted to it. I love watching your innocent reaction to the music. Now take a look at the lyrics and understand how deep and meaningful this song is for a different perspective. Bulls on Parade, Know Your Enemy and Down Rodeo will take you deeper. Definitely recommend pulling up the lyrics with these guys. Saw them live twice this summer and I'm still buzzing.
You’re not wrong. A little bit or rap lyrics with hard metal instrumentals. My favorite band of all time
It's about 30 years old, early 90's
Prophets of rage is the band that 3 ratm members started. It disbanded in 2019 when ratm regrouped
I've heard the name before but never listened to the songs. You had the moves down right, it's a head banger.
Ah, it's so great watching you react to this one! This song/video totally takes me back! I remember jamming to this all throughout my childhood.
Great Reaction 👍
Stage diving or crowd surfing 🏄
Welcome in RATM waters. You got all that matters for the first reaction, which was awesome, I enjoyed. If you want you can do more RATM for millions of their fans. Thx, all best.
Thank you, glad you liked this ❤️
Some of those who work forces, are the same who burn crosses.
Reminds me of Mississippi Burning with Gene Hackman
RATM is such an important band. This song is phenomenal Sadly in the 30 years since it came out, not much if anything has changed! Bomb Track, Wake Up, Testify, People of the sun - you will honestly love all of it! Have a wonderful Xmas / Holidays :)
C'mon... plenty has changed! All these problems have gotten MUCH worse!
@@dzelman444 Yeah now weirdos are using RATM songs to their fascist protests because life is actually parody
Yeeeaaaah I loooove 2C you going for it! Nice reaction! This is a protest song, "some of them who wor forces are the same that burn crosses" - means: some police officers are KuKluxKlan-Members, this crossover RAP-Metal ist - in my openion, the right genre to spit the disgudting racism back in the faces of their owners. Big Hug!
This is the same Guitar, Base and Drummer that were on Audioslave's Like a Stone that you watched just the other day.
The rock music in the 90s was so good… in my 20s I danced in rock discos to this song, awesome! And still love these songs nearly 30 years later! 👍🤘
I loved your reaction the joy in your face says it all yeah
You'd definitely like this Japanese punk band called Coquettish. The song "Friends" is really good.
i love the way you head-bob to this!!
They became the band Audioslave, but after Cris Cornel pass away they are back with the band Rage Against the Machine.
Both of them are very good bands.
Good bands indeed ❤️
Just started going running through your library and all I can say FANTASTIC job!!👏👏 There is not another band like Rage!!
Nonpoint “Alive and Kickin” is another one that’ll get your motor goin. 😂 “Bullet with a Name On It” too.
BISSCUTE HAPPY HOLIDAYS 🎉🎉🎉🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦
Bisscute, the guitarist Tom Morello and drummer and bassist went on to form band Audioslave with Chris Cornell. RATM is in a category of music all by itself imo. Kicking the door down on the establishment while exposing social issues and unjust laws. Great band, you should listen to .ore of their music. They recently got together again to tour then Zach DeLa Rocha blew his knee out. Major cool points to you Bisscute for listening and reacting to this wonderful hardcore band
These guys, Anthrax and Public Enemy, they are truly the prophets of rage, they can really bring the noise!

I just came across this and you nailed it, the rap feel crossed it over into the mainstream of 1995. Good song
*SO* happy to see you discovering Rage Against the Machine. All of their songs are heavily related to their band name, and a lot are specific to actual events. This song was inspired by the Rodney King beating of Rodney King by the police and the subsequent riots in Los Angeles. They've always had their own style, you can almost always pick out their songs when tou hear them, but you've got it correct, they're among the first to do a rap-metal fusion, and their lyrics & songs were always so well written that they're well-received and poignant today.
Other good tracks are Bulls on Parade and Rodeo (as in the high-end shopping area "Ro-day-oh" Drive, not the horses and cowboys "Ro-dee-oh")
told myself to watch at least one more video before subscribing ..... couldn't wait....... Subscribed !!!
Rap Metal- hard to classify what genre they are- great band, crazy live shows. A lot of political messages.. more please ❤
Hopefully more in the future ❤️
It's interesting how their first album contrasts greatly to their second. This song is from their first album, which is much more metal than their second album. I recommend Vietnow, Bulls on Parade, People of the Sun and Down Rodeo from their second CD, Evil Empire.
Just please, for the love of everything good, listen to the studio versions!
Rage is the best! The lead singer loves rap and funk that’s why it permeates the music. That said, the rock is even harder.
Great reaction! The drummer, bass player and guitar player went on to join Chris Cornell to form Audio slave. Please react to Bulls on Parade and Chris Cornell's cover of nothing compares to you!
Annnndddd Xmas comes early! Beautiful bisscute, headbanging and rage😍🙌🏻🤘🏻
Used to listen to this on the way to work everyday.
Rap metal also numetal rage against the machine is fierce incredible band one of a kind.
Nooo!! This is the perfect song to react to first! So much fun. lol, it's called stage diving! :)
Perfect first reaction to these guys love xx
Everybody's new years resolution. should be to find more occasions to headbang. 😜😜🤘🤘
Your great taste in music is only exceeded by your beauty! Please, keep the great reactions coming,my friend! ❤️❤️❤️
So the Audioslave guitarist you watched just a couple days ago where you said you've never heard a guitar sound like that, this is the same guy on the guitar :) His name is Tom Morello
I love the contrast between your reaction and this song. Just beautiful! ❤
They owned all!
This band is pure 90's Punk Rock. I was lucky enough too see them live and this song always was amazing to be in the mosh pit too.
It shows the rebellious spirit of the times.
P.s. Punk rockers and Hip Hop / rap fans always got along, in the 80's-90's it was speaking a similar massage through different mediums.
1:48
Wooooow
Oh yeah!!!
Love the smile when Tom Morello starts the solo.
Rage Against The Machine have same similarities with Limp Bizkit.
Couple of band sugestions:
Rise Againt - Prayer of the Refugee, Savior, Help is on the Way
Papa Roach - Last Resort, Between Angels and Insects, Kill The Noise, No Apologies
I was going to suggest you search for the Prodigy live in Moscow but then I saw the amount of music reaction vids you hsve recorded for us in the last 11 months. You have a large style of music tastes that's for sure. If you liked Slipnot and other desth metal songs, then Prodigy will not make much of a dent in your reaction.
All I say is this, the crowd in Red Square went absolutely bonkers when Prodigy kicked off.
Rage is all about the message, the lyrics are what this band is all about, fighting against tyranny and oppression
I see ❤️
The band sang about social injustices whether it was in America,Peru,Mexico also about the rich controlling thing and government. All with a Funk,Metal and Rap style. The Singer and Guitar Player meant while attending Harvard as a Political Science Majors than moved to L.A to created their own sound .
Crowd surfing.. and its a blast, most everyone are respectful and most helpful.
That was the perfect song to react to, as a first reaction, as it is how the world got aquainted with Rage Against The machine 30 years ago.
Thanks, glad you liked the reaction ❤
Love this song and your reaction to it, Bisscute! If you're wondering how Tom Morello got the guitar solo to sound like that, he's using a Digitech Whammy Pedal. Cheers!
Love the reaction as always. Definitely also check out Renegades of Funk and Sleep now in the Fire. The last one especially if you want to see the band shut down Wallstreet
Tom Morello, the guitarist of RATM, is an endorse of BLM in Schools. You can find his name on their website right under Endorsements along with Opal Tometi, Ibram X. Kendi, Shaun King, Bill Ayers (communist, was a leader of the Weather Underground militant group, a domestic terrorist group from the 60s, now a retired professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago) and Jonathan Kozol (wrote Children of the Revolution: A Yankee Teacher in the Cuban Schools, among others) to name a few.
I see they took out Patrisse Cullors name which used to be on there as well. Yeah.
Anyways, love the reaction Biss.
Tom Morello and Zack de la Rocha were and are involved is various protest and civil disobedience movements. This song is very much written like a protest song in the fact that it repeats very clear messages to drive home the point. "Fuck you i won't do what ya tell me" has to be one of the best protest messages ever recorded.
The song is from their first album Rage against the machine, from 1992.
Their style is considered as crossover or rapmetal.
The song is inspired from the Rodney King incident
and all was before she was born ... made me think waow oim old :)
This is very nostalgic. I used to listen to them all the time when I was a kid in the 90's.
I love your reaction to this song!❤❤
RATM is genius!
YEAH!
It's 1992, or 1993, never to be repeated. Really beautiful, like you.
Anyway...the 90's came and went, like a top-fuel dragster. Made my head spin.
Peace out beautiful!😊😊
Stage diving! Can you believe they later became Audioslave, only with the singer from Soundgarden? I know you had to recognize the guitarist.
Rage against the machine (Evil Empire) was the first CD I ever bought. It's ingrained in my then teenage brain, and I love them to death. What is great about RATM is that the songs are so funky, that you can just jam to them without paying attention to the lyrics. But when you read them, they describe a history of oppression in a lyrical form.
This song you chose is great, but it's also with the fewest lyrics and most repetitive. As others wrote, it's about police brutality. This song is from their epynymous first album, which contains like 8 hits out of 10 songs. Wake up, bullet in the head and know your enemy would be my next choices. With them, I suggest watching lyrics videos or at least have them pulled up while you listen. They're also great jams, but contain more message.
Happy Holidays/ Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
The funny thing is, you say you have never heard of the band but what you don't realise is you pretty much listened to them two days ago. Audioslave is just Rage Against The Machine with a different singer. Rage broke up when singer Zack de la Rocha left the band but the other three stayed together and formed Audioslave with Chris Cornell on vocals.
If you get round to listening to Cochise by Audioslave (my personal introduction to them and still my fave song by them), you will hear that very similar guitar sound in the solo as this song.
Most of the artists were then in Audioslave with Chris Cornell, this song was from the 90s RAGTM is very political in their music and views and still is. D. Trump decided to use their music without their permission and they challenged it in court in recent years. This song is one of their biggest hits, Renegades of Funk is another one of their most popular. This was the era of a lot of heavy drinking and weed smoking for many millennials. They're set to make a comeback soon if we're lucky!
Their selftitled Debut Album changed the Music Scene forever! For Millions the Best Debut LP ever!......And damn,I will never ever forget the Crowd and the Moshpits of their Concerts.Right from the First Tone TOTAL MAYHAM !!!!.......Members of RATM later formed AUDIOSLAVE with CHRIS CORNELL and later PROPHETS OF RAGE with Members of PUBLIC ENEMY and CYPRESS HILL !......And the Crowd was always the Same : FLIPPED OUT !
