Tried out all the Flightmodes for you. Orbit, Precision Flight and to some extend dynamic tracking are my favorite. If you wanna do tracking I suggest to use slower subjects. Vehicles or fast moving subjects are not the best option. For those I suggest planning the shot well ahead and manually track the subject to avoid damage or loss of your drone.Hope I could help you out with this Video. @@Kion1972 Did you update to Version 2.3.3 ? That's the only way i would think. I don't like to run BETA's since there is a chance of voiding warranty when using BETA in case of crash etc.
I have the autel evo 2 and i was disappointed in the instructions in their manual. Your video was extremely helpful because this is the first drone ive ever flown and now i know the different flight mods

I totally love mine and have no regrets my man. I don't have any DJI to compare it to but I see too many comparison videos out there anyways. I rather focus on a product itself and point out whatever it can or can't do.
Thanks for the demonstration of the different flight modes. Now I know what I was doing wrong with the orbit yesterday. I noticed with mine, it was slowing down a lot yesterday to slow speeds and stopping sudden, I guess the intense sun and wind had its sensors on high alert. As usual awesome video. Aloha!

I sure hope they do. Parrot anafi had it. Mavic zoom got it and with this 11X zoom it would be great if they could implement it with a firmware update .
@@JOSERAFAEL403 So I just got to try the smart orbit. You actually draw a square around any subject you want it to orbit. Once identified the Drone will start orbiting. The app will pop up a window similar to precision flight with controls of hight, speed, distance and/or direction. You can adjust all needs to film your subject how you want it to be filmed. Dynamic tracking is great for slower subjects. Anything over 10 mp/h should be manual to be honest to prevent loss of tracking and/or damage to the drone. She acted really bad when it was going over 22 mp/h .
808-State I was trying to impress and justify the cost of drone. I set her as target and asked her to run 😂 it followed her a bit then lost. We tried a few times more and the same story. 😁
@@teomcam8635 Wow that's a bummer :( When I was walking around in my back yard she had no issue doing what she was doing including obstacles avoidance. I still prefer manual flight though lol . Guess anything moving faster than walking is crap then lol
What you going to drive ? Waimanalo Side has some nice straights and on some parts the H3 is pretty empty. Gotta watch out though. Motorcycle cops are always hiding somewhere :D Big Island i can show you a lot of open spots and good places to drive and open um up a bit :D

Aloha, Is the intelligent mode photo viewpoint it sets a pathway similar to Inspire 2? While the gimbal operation is different does it work in if you set speed can you rotate or Yaw the aircraft. Say you setup a flight parallel to highway and you move at 22mph. If you pass a slower moving car can you use it to pan left and get a cinematic shot while the mode maintains trajectory in parallel?
There is an option called Waypoint with points of interest in which the Drone will be facing and you will be able to take pictures, create timelapse shots and record videos
Hello,I’ve been searching trying to find out if there is a way to pan the camera/gimbal using the controller. Actually on some of the DJI Mavic series you can drag you finger on the screen of your phone and the gimbal camera will pan. Any idea if this is available on the EVO 2. I have both the 8K and the Pro cameras, really enjoy your videos/tutorials. Thank You,
At this point the answer is no. I have seen that function on the DJI drones but autel has not released that function at this point as far as I am aware of . Thank u for swinging by
Aloha..Do you happen to know if it's possible to time lapse shots in the viewpoint mode? I want to do some hyperlapse photography but can't seem to change shot intervals in any of the flight modes, but manual. Thanks.
Wait for the new firmware update. Rumors have it that a time-lapse mode will be introduced with the next firmware update my friend. Edit: use mission mode. Set a point of interest and set picture interval to 2secs. ;)
Thanks for doing these tests. I noticed at about the 12min mark, during precision flying mode, there was a message on screen which said: "The Drone just tried to land itself...". Could you please comment on this. ie. Did the drone make contact with the ground and that triggered a landing, or was it something else? Also, with firmware version 2.50, is the annoying beeping sound present when in precision mode? Thanks.
I was really close to the ground ( a few inches away, not touching) and the drone tried to land. The bottom sensors are still on even if you turn them off in the options so I had to push the stick up to get her out of landing mode and yes the annoying beeping sound will remain in precision mode. You can turn that off though if you turn down media volume on your phone. Reason why it looks like a touch and go is because the camera levels itself right before landing to avoid damage to the camera in case of a landing and the lens facing downwards.

So far this was the Orbit mode that I have seen yesterday while trying them all out. I will look deeper into all these modes once the weather gets better. It's been kinda rainy over the past few days.
@@808-Stat3 I know there are beta versions of the app I believe for both iOs and Android, Maybe they are already finals I don't know but I did see another reviewer use that orbit I mentioned, so much more convenient, What I missed in that review was moving as it's orbiting to see if it can do it
So far she let's you change altitude and direction and gimbal movement while maintaining the course of the diameter set from the center. I'll try and see if I can find out more about the BETA version. I usually don't really try out BETA versions since I have lost a drone due to a faulty BETA and another company stated you void warranty when utilizing BETA versions.
ifyou dont already have it go to the Autel website and see how you can get the beta of the app, it opens up more functions that the new firmware has, at least just that new orbit, you cannot access it otherwise.
