I use Conklin diesel plus in both my big rigs and my drag truck. I also treat the drag truck with about 4oz of 2 stroke oil. It's a 12 gallon fuel cell. The p7100s need a ton of added lubrication at 5-6000 rpm. Modern diesel fuel does not have enough lubrication to maintain good barrel/plunger wear at that rpm. 2 stroke oil won't clog your injector tips.

I wouldnt on a def system but in my old 03 clapped out lb7,she loves the evinrude 2 stroke,I run a quart or more every fill up,it quiets the injectors down immensely, also if you ever Google 2 stroke burn test you can see 2 stroke acuatlly leaves behind almost no deposits, ever see what all other additives leave behind?,its night and day as far as noise and the amount of smoke produced running 2 stroke...before I ran it with a mild tune it would blow nice sized clouds when you got in it,now almost nothing,if you look at common rail diesels there is acuatlly so much metal to metal contact surfaces that rely solely on the diesel fuel for lubricity,it always amazed me people say 2 stroke is bad for truck designed to run on low sulfur diesel at min 500 ppm but think additives with less them 15 ppm will help in any way shape or form, bio diesel is good but I dont have it by me,opti-lube is good stuff but way too expensive 2 STROKE!!!! I found this video, trying to answer a question.
To my understanding. The only reason why a diesel engine can't run on gasoline, is because fuels like gasoline & alchol are not oily enough to lubricate the high pressure mechanical fuel pumps of a diesel engine....So does this mean a diesel engine will run just fine on 2stroke oil and gas premix? Maybe enough oil in the gas, until it feels like diesel between fingers? Maybe a higher gasoline ratio then that feeling?

If you want more power and clean injectors use either Millers ecomax diesel or pure 2-ethhyl hexyl nitrate( its the main ingredient in millers ecomax diesel. Its a cetane booster and genuinely gives noticeable power improvements along with a host of other positives and zero negatives.
All other additives are just horse shit and a waste of money. I usually add 100ml-150ml per 50 litres. This is the max you'd want to go to. I've often put more than that in, it doesn't seem to hurt it but it doesn't do any more it just needlessly wastes it.
The recommendation is 50ml-100ml per 50 litres. But I've found you can get better performance up to 150ml per 50 litres.

So from 1896-1933 all Diesel engines were run on other stuff, commonly hemp oil, peanut oil, or similar. The Diesel engines of today aren't much different, and can often be run on the same stuff with only a little modification.

@@moviecapsule1108 The gas station accidentally mixed gas into my diesel. Maybe half the tank is gas half diesel. I'm thinking of adding 2 cycle oil in there hoping it helps.

You used fully synthetic 2 stroke oil, this is a huge no no, only use low ash mineral 2 stroke oil.

Why is that? I'm interested in giving this a try.

2 stroke oil doesnt bond with diesel when mixed. It will just settle to the bottom of your fuel tank ... fact.
