I think the pizza delivery is one of the best as well. I don’t think any other episode explored SpongeBob and squidwards dynamic as well as that one. Those first three seasons of SpongeBob are truly incredible. I genuinely can’t name a bad episode from this era.

My favourite episode of the entire show is probably Reef Blower. It introduces SpongeBob and Squidward. Their relationship. The settings. Everything. And the most shocking part is that it manages to do all of this while the characters don’t even say a single word.
It is pretty interesting that they were able to pull an episode off like that with no spoken dialog. It's truly one of a kind episode. As far as I'm aware, that's the only episode where there is no spoken words.
The Chocolate Fish in CWN always kinda scared me as a kid. Looking back I can’t help but wonder if he’s meant to be a G-Rated Addict, kinda like how the first movie portrayed the duo getting hammered on ice cream sundaes.

im not a "the curtains are just blue" person but i think you're reading too deep into it. sure, "drunk on candy" is a common kids show trope and all, but i really think any sort of "addict" coding is just a side effect of the bit that his character represents. he screams "chocolate!" in a blind rage and chases them, making you think he has a strange irrational chocolate hatred, but it turns out he's a customer and completely capable of talking in normal sentences. simple as

I personally consider the Krusty Krab training video to be like an unofficial episode 1 or episode 0 as it establishes (like you said) the primary dynamics of the show's characters. I would also consider band geeks to be a spiritual finale to the series. Overall, im not suprised the top 3 episodes are what they are, as spongebob doesn't get more iconic than those three episodes.

My favorite is definitely Survival of the Idiots. So many iconic moments like dirty dan and open sesame, plus seeing SpongeBob and Patrick bounce off of each other in such an enjoyable way all while the looming threat of mid-hibernation Sandy adds tension makes every second a blast.

Squidward’s arch nemesis. he goes to the band concert. Squidlliam gets in front of him asking to leave the concert. Squidward gets mad and goes to the concert. The problem is none of them could play an instrument. So squidward partices them to play the instruments. They play the instruments wrong. Squidward’s band concert is ruined and goes home. But when squidward got home. Squidward got an idea. He goes back to the concert and plays a song called sweet victory. This is one of the best songs of spongebob of all time and It’s my #1 favorite spongebob song and episodes. Band Geeks is the best spongebob episode of all time and it beats the three most favorite spongebob episodes.
